I visited Ikoyi, the most noteworthy restaurant in the world, for the fifth time🌟🌟

Recently, I have been eating 2.0 of the restaurant I liked before when I returned to London😂I have eaten at Ikoyi four times before, from the opening to the one-star, and now the two-star. Friends around me have mixed opinions about it, and the polarization is serious. Some love it, and some hate it. It has just moved to 180 Strand, so I hurried here. The decoration is much more advanced. The restaurant has a warm and dim style, but the chandelier on the table can just shine on the food, and it knows how to take pictures. It is only open for dinner, and the kitchen team has more than a dozen people, plus other employees. I hope they don&rsquo;t lose money🥹

The new menu after this upgrade is 300 pounds per person, which directly becomes one of the most expensive tasting menus in London. The reason why it dares to charge so much may be because Jeremy has been very popular in Michelin and World Best 50 in recent years, and I am tired of talking about his handsomeness.

Everyone is talking about the West African elements of Ikoyi. In fact, I once heard Jeremy himself say that he doesn&#39;t like people defining Ikoyi as West African food. He just combined the spices he thought of, and it just happened to have West African elements in it. He prefers people to say that he is creative.

The first few snacks on the new menu have a lot of Chinese flavors. After his integration, they are strange and familiar. Drunken Chicken Toast is a second back to China, Mussel &amp; Saffron Cr&egrave;me Caramel is the first dish I like the seasoning. The main course is still as usual with a lot of West African spices, and the sweetbread is well processed, with a little crispy on the outside. The classic roasted plantains and smoked pepper stewed rice are both signature dishes, but the ingredients and flavor combinations will change according to the season. The dessert was also innovative, the sweet and spicy Hibiscus sobert woke me up from my tipsy mood😅

My sister ordered a bottle of the popular Little Angel red wine from Roman&eacute;e Village in Burgundy, which has a very low production and needs to be matched🍷We didn&#39;t taste any floral aroma, but the tannin was very smooth.

After dinner, I saw on XHS that Ah Sa was sitting at the table next to me that night, but I didn&#39;t see her because I didn&#39;t wear contact lenses🥹There were probably only 20 people in the restaurant, and I was upset all day!

We had a choice of 12 or 14 courses, the 14 was courses was around &pound;200/head. You will need to book several weeks in advance as they only sit 20 people (around the kitchen table). To be able to watch the a dozen chefs cook and prepare 14 courses in front of you is an incredible experience. It&rsquo;s got 2 Michelin stars, and both very well deserved. As you sit around the kitchen table (for 2-3 hours) the experience works best for couples.

🇬🇧 Evelyn&#39;s Table: London&#39;s Most Mysterious Basement Restaurant

The most unique experience of my trip to London was definitely Evelyn&#39;s Table, hidden in the basement of a bar in Soho! You have to walk through a bar to get down there, and that &quot;only insiders know&quot; feeling is incredibly cool. The space is small, with only one row of counter seats, allowing you to watch the chefs prepare the dishes up close, like watching a precise performance.

🍴 Key Dining Highlights:

&bull; An exceptional counter experience: The culinary team is very young but incredibly talented. The delicate seafood dish in the photo was prepared in a very French style, yet the natural sweetness of the ingredients was still evident. With each dish served, the chef chats with you, explaining the origin of the ingredients, creating a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

&bull; A stunning combination of flavors: The cuisine here blends French techniques with local ingredients. The small dish in the photo, plated like a work of art, boasts a rich texture, especially the special sauce&mdash;its deep flavor is so enticing you&#39;ll want to lick the plate clean!

&bull; Delicate Pace: Although there are only a few chefs, the pacing of the entire meal is superb, with ample time between each course to chat with friends and enjoy wine.

💬 Travel Notes:

&bull; Reservation Difficulty: This place is truly &quot;sold out in seconds&quot;! Due to limited seating, it&#39;s highly recommended to book as soon as reservations open.

&bull; Atmosphere: Perfect for celebrating special occasions or for discerning gourmets who want to interact with the chefs. Although located in a basement, it doesn&#39;t feel oppressive at all; instead, it has the luxurious feel of a private retreat.

They serve authentic Chinese fast food, and the restaurant is similar to the roadside restaurants in Shanghai, but the price is much higher. The shredded pork with fish flavor is very authentic, and there is also egg fried rice. It was a very satisfying meal, mainly because it satisfied my stomach.

Great location just of Tottenham CR.  Food it&rsquo;s all about great value steaks. Salads are fresh.  The staff are just the best and make sure you have everything you need.  I recommend this place in regards value and service.   Both top class

One of the Top Must-Visit Restaurants in London

I have wanted to try Hawksmoor after hearing good things and I am glad I finally did.

The starters were very good especially the beef carpaccio and our mains of fillet and sirloin were very tender and flavourful. Not wanting to rush we didn&#39;t order dessert due to the earlier closing time but if we had dined earlier we would of.

Service was excellent from Marius and the rest of the team. I am very sure I will visit a Hawksmoor again.

Plum Valley offers an incredible dining experience with a relaxing atmosphere and delicious food. The dim sum is a must-try, and the service is attentive and friendly.

I had a fantastic experience with the vegetarian options here. The mixed vegetarian platter and vegan dim sum were both delicious and well-prepared, perfect for plant-based diners.
