Ikanji Japanese Restaurant

We were welcomed with a big greeting as always, the service is great you don't wait very long before they take your order. And they help you if you're not sure what is what. The food is great and nice and hot .

Great experience. Staff had noted our table requirements and welcomed us by name from The Fork booking. Drinks soon ordered, and Starters arrived shortly after. The Crab Cakes with Sweet Chilli sauce were tasty with a really crisp coating. Chop Sticks are the standard utensils, but easy to ask for a knife and fork. Chose the Tuna Teriyaki as the main course. It came with rice, salad and tempura vegetable bites: so no need to order any sides. No wait for the bill, either. Supplied when requested and no need to chase for any Yum discounts. Only pain was finding parking, but only a short walk from the railway station so public transport could be an alternative for a future visit. Directly opposite the Odeon so could combine as a cinema outing. Noted there was also a Tuesday to Sunday set menu where you can try a set of three items at a time and carry on until you can eat no more but would be handy to learn a few Japanese words first, such as Tori for Chicken, else photo and translate.

We had a fabulous meal here early Saturday evening. We did book which was a good decision as reserved signs were on all tables. We had the eat all you can menu which was good value for money and great quality food. The service was friendly and efficient we will definitely go back

First visit and a Thursday night so it was quiet but the food and the service were excellent. Will definitely go again as so much we want to try. Thank-you
