Our family of 12 ate here. The food and service were consistently excellent. The appetizers, mains, and desserts were plentiful and tasty. Highly recommend the fried green fries, fried chicken, shrimp and mule grits, chocolate cake, and apple crisp.
Very nice semi-fancy restaurant. I had their signature fried chicken which was very good. The mashed potatoes were amazing! The kale was cooked differently than anything I've ever had but it was super tasty! Here's my complaint: it's too expensive. But you're probably paying the chef's salary and they may not be fresh out of school. Just a heads up, if you order an appetizer, don't expect to be full. The portions are really small. The same goes for the crab soup, even if you order a bowl, which is the largest and more expensive portion, it's actually not a lot. This restaurant is worth a try. I'd order a cup next time and share it if you don't want to try something new. Recommended!
The food was good and the waiter gave us some great recommendations. The fried chicken was delicious! The restaurant was very crowded and loud but we sat near the patio which was very quiet. The heaters kept us warm when the weather was cold. I recommend making reservations for this restaurant...recommended!
I was completely stunned. The overall environment is very good. Wow, it's really thoughtful.
