The staff were very friendly, especially our server, Chang. The restaurant atmosphere was fantastic, perfect for gatherings with friends or dates. The decor was beautiful, the tables and chairs were spaced well apart, and there was even a bar area. The food was superb. We ordered lobster noodles, tuna belly bibimbap, ceviche fish, and ribs. The lobster noodles were cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. The ceviche fish was rich and delicious, leaving a lasting impression! The ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender—need I say more? Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would definitely come back.
The signature side dishes are more impressive than the noodles. These include pork ribs, Toro Ssam Bap, and caviar fried chicken. The restaurant is rather dark, the music is too loud, and the benches are uncomfortable in winter. It's recommended to focus on sharing the side dishes; ordering a bowl of noodles each might make you feel full and miss out on the best parts. Toro Ssam Bap is a must-try, and the noodles can be shared between two people.
A highly recognizable creative Korean restaurant in New York, blending French culinary techniques with a meticulously prepared broth. The handmade noodles are made fresh daily, and the restaurant offers a variety of creative Korean appetizers and main courses. Popular Signature Dishes: Gochu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen: Slow-cooked pork bone broth paired with fermented white kimchi and thick-cut pork belly. The spiciness is mild and rich, with a balanced and non-greasy flavor – a classic choice. Wagyu Ramen: A clear veal bone broth base, paired with Miyazaki Wagyu brisket and a soft-boiled egg. The freshness is clean and refreshing, suitable for those who don't eat spicy food. Lobster Myun Ramen: A seafood broth made with lobster, featuring plump lobster meat and a prominent layer of umami flavor. Toro Ssam Bap Tuna Bibimbap: Sushi-grade tuna belly paired with sea urchin, flying fish roe, and caviar. You can wrap the rice yourself with seaweed – a unique and popular appetizer.
