Bankers Hill Bar + Restaurant

It was a standard American meal, the seafood in it was all cooked well. The duck leg tasted pretty good, the duck was relatively lean, and the taste was similar to the braised duck legs in China.

The food is wonderful! We ate brunch here before the airport and it was close and worth the time. The vegetable Benedict was amazing and don’t forget the homemade cinnamon rolls.

Three families came for brunch on Sunday. Tables were easily available without reservations, although there was a lot of business. Friendly service and old fashioned wood decorated open air restaurant. This was a very rare occasion, open air is actually not a good thing when in San Diego, due to the high humidity and temperature. There was a good selection of lunch items, from standard brunch items to burgers. The highlight of our meal was the truffle fries and the hard boiled eggs. The salad had good flavor, but the dressing was a little heavy. Prices are a little high for a light brunch, but we all enjoyed our meals. Overall a good experience and we would consider going back.

The wife and I were delighted when we visited Bankers Hill for dinner. They have some drinks that will excite your taste buds. The food menu has something for everyone. The truffle fries are probably the best in town, they are crunchy and cooked just right. I have tried a different amount of food on the menu and the one I love is the chicken schnitzel. It has great flavor and is delicious with mashed potatoes and spinach.

This place is cool, nice rustic vibe and cool lighting, in the heart of San Diego. The service was excellent, we had a lovely attentive waiter. The food was good, amazing burgers, delicious Swiss meat buns, delicious steaks, recommend all of them! The ribs were good, the meatballs were good. The truffle fries were a little too strong for me, if you are a truffle lover, go for it, but they were not to my taste, too greasy. I didn't want desert, everyone has desert, and the nice waiter gave me a free cookie, he was so cute, it was delicious. My brother said this was the best restaurant he has ever been to, thank you for a great night!

Went for dinner on a Monday night but the restaurant was still busy, which alone speaks volumes about the high quality of the food and drink. The craft cocktails were very good, and the food was exceptional! There were two of us, and we shared several items and didn't order anything from the dinner menu. We had pumpkin soup (excellent), a special pear salad, excellent roasted brussels sprouts with a little pecorino (not heavy on the sauce), and lots of cheese on large slices of house French bread. <br /> <br /> It was plenty of food, but we had to try the panna cotta and were glad we did! What a great dessert pudding, served with a crisp, some really great butter cookies on the side. Heaven.
