Went for the tortillas but had lunch at the same time. The tortillas are the best. We picked up a few dozen to take home. We also got the tacos for lunch which were authentic, and good, but the hot sauce was incredible.
We waited 30 minutes in the hot San Diego sun to see the front door. Inside is a very basic establishment. The menu is small. But…that’s where the negativity ends. I’ve tried everything. Ate too much. So much so far. My wife and I spent $20. We were ashamed of ourselves for being so gluttonous. The piles of food were so delicious. So authentic. So cheap. Bring cash, bring patience, bring appetite.
