Operacaffe

It is a relatively simple Italian dish. The seafood pasta tastes pretty good, the pizza tastes great, the fried rice is delicious, and the salad is a big portion, which solves the problem of eating less vegetables.

From the greeter to the waiting staff through to the food it was faultless. The portion sizes are huge - so bring an appetite! The downside is that we had no space for dessert!

We had the good fortune to recommend this on TripAdvisor and it was no exception. Our dinner was excellent and the service was fantastic. We did not plan on having dessert but one look at the menu and we decided which one we would choose. All desserts are made in the room. You will not be disappointed!

We were looking for Italian while staying in the Gaslamp Quarter. There are several options but this was this one highly rated by TripAdvisor and I can see why. The prices were reasonable but the food really stood out - it was divine. Our server Pete had a smile on his face from the start, as if he knew we would enjoy our meal, and we did. It wasn't too crowded, just enough people to lend it an atmosphere. Totally, very comfortable place with really great food to eat, and a joke to people watch.

After a fun day watching the Padres win at Petco Park, we strolled through the Gaslamp District to enjoy a delicious dinner. There was a lot of variety on the menu. We shared the Read Full Salad, and the Gnocchi with Blue Cheese Dressing and Margarita. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was great - very attentive, pleasant, knowledgeable, and fast without making us feel rushed.
