love is blueI have to say I had a great time at this restaurant, the staff was very friendly and the table service was great. They have three buffets, one focused on salads and seafood, one full of Brazilian hot dishes, and one with both hot and cold dishes. The buffet itself was great, and they also have a nice selection of soups. The waiter was helpful in carving the meat and often came to our table (asking if we needed help). The wine list was really great, which was the icing on the cake. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant more often in the future. We had a great dining experience here and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience a different culture and cuisine.

My wife and I wanted to celebrate my retirement in style. This was our first time to the Gaslamp District in San Diego, and after so many wonderful choices we booked a table for two on OpenTable. The place and its ambiance to go with so many seafood choices is quite outstanding. Our first course was a visit to the salad bar. The cold cocktail shrimp and king crab legs were a real delight. The highlight was of course the generous portions of skewers brought to your table. My favorite was the picahna, and the fillet, along with other steak cuts, were also delicious. We didn't do dessert. We asked the waiter to cook it and deliver it. I wanted to make sure of that. The service was impeccable. I was also impressed that Var R was there to oversee the service.
If you want to get your money's worth at this place, come hungry - really hungry. The food isn't cheap, but they just keep coming until you throw in the towel. Add a salad bar with some items you won't find elsewhere and it's a great dining experience. Very friendly staff! Attentive and attentive. If in San Diego give this place a spot, you'll be glad you did.
Going to REI to get really hungry is the start of the food, as you will be going for the all you can eat menu which includes lots of juicy meats on skewers, it's so fun! The greens/sides buffet is a real treat as well...> We had a bottle of Numancia 2012 which was very reasonably priced as was the rest of the wine menu. Deserts were a bit so-so - could be a bit more imaginative. Service was good, but the place was a bit loud and the half naked carnival dancers were so inappropriate, so I'm only giving the evening four stars!
A strange place described as "all you can eat" with 12+ meat options on the table. We wanted a street table. Salad bar we great simple ingredients, lettuce, beets etc with or without dressing. But lots of complex drssed salads as well. Meat variety all perfect as strips. Many styles of cuts and different meats. Plus Brazilian dancers in costume - a different "local experience". A great time.
