The outdoor seating is the real draw here. Had the big bowl of soup, which was perfect for the cool evening breeze. Just a lovely, relaxed spot to watch the world go by.

Been coming here for years, always stop in after a day on the slopes. The service is consistently quick and friendly, never feels rushed even when the place is packed. It's that reliable vibe that keeps me coming back.

Service was on point—quick and friendly, no hovering. Got my food fast, which I appreciate on a lunch break. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Right by the train station, super convenient. The foie gras was lovely and the steak really hit the spot. Local wine was a nice touch too. Crème brûlée was just okay, but honestly, the rest made up for it.

Solid lunch spot. Got the South African scampi — pretty damn good. Apple tarte was the highlight though. Views are killer from the terrace. Wine list decent but a bit pricey. Service was fine, nothing special. Would come back for the tarte alone.

Really liked the pizza here. The crust was thin and crispy, the tomato sauce tasted fresh. A nice, relaxed spot for a casual dinner.

This restaurant offers a stunning view and a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a family lunch. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, making it a great choice for anyone visiting the area.

Sandwiches were decent and honestly priced better than the supermarket. Got one to take away and it held up fine. Nothing fancy, but for a quick lunch it does the job. Maybe not a destination spot, but if you're nearby it's a solid option.

The staff here are so friendly, always smiling. I tried their local craft beer, it was nice. The snacks were tasty too, especially the olives - they tasted really fresh. A pleasant spot for a light bite.

Stopped by for a coffee, ended up staying longer than planned. Staff were friendly, place felt easy. Gonna come back for dinner sometime.

Been coming here for a while now. Still consistent, the dinner menu keeps enough variety that I don't get bored. Food's always solid.

Ski season is nuts here, so yeah, you'll wait. We snagged an outdoor table with a booking, worth it for the view. The hot chocolate was just right, not too sweet. Inside felt a bit cramped when we went to pay.

The tasting menu really delivered — every plate looked like something you’d see in a gallery. I went with the wine pairing and honestly, the sommelier nailed it, especially with the red they chose for the lamb course. Room was warm and cozy too. Only hiccup: pacing got a bit slow near the end. Still, a solid spot if you’re after a relaxed evening.

Been coming here for years, and that cheese and charcuterie board is always spot on. The bread is still warm when it hits the table. That's the thing I keep coming back for.

The schnitzel with fries was solid and cheaper than most spots in Kandersteg. Salad dressing was surprisingly good. Quick bite before heading out.

The beef tartare was the standout. Clean, sharp seasoning, proper texture. Mains were solid too, though the lamb could've used a bit more salt. Modern plates, no fuss. For the price, it's fair. I'd eat here again just for that tartare.
