The hot and sour soup here is still the best I’ve found anywhere. Got takeout last night and it was ready exactly when they said. Owner smiled at the door too. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price.

Stopped by after the new owners took over. Sandwiches are still big, that’s good. Service was actually friendly this time, even when it got busy. Had the club, plenty of filling. Place could use a bit of a wipe down but nothing terrible. Solid spot for a quick lunch if you're in the area.

The lighting in there is just right—warm without feeling dim. I had the grilled fish and it came out flaky, still juicy. House wine was surprisingly decent for the price. Staff let me take my time, no rushing. Only thing, the tables are a bit close together, but it didn't ruin the mood.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the pasta with seafood, portion was decent for the price. Not huge, but fair. Menu's only in Dutch though, had to guess a bit. Seats are kinda hard, not somewhere you wanna linger. Fine if you just need to eat and go.

Dropped by for a quick lunch. Got the five-course menu — took a bit longer than I'd like for a midday break, but honestly, the food was solid. The host was friendly, kept the vibe relaxed. Left full and on time enough. Would come back if I'm not in a rush.

We ate upstairs in the old castle part. Nice vibe, kind of what you hope for in a place like this. Food was decent, nothing crazy but solid. Only thing is if you’ve got trouble with stairs, the upper floor isn’t really accessible. That’s a bit of a letdown. Still, for a casual meal out, it did the job.

The meal and service were satisfyingly good. Unfortunately, they claimed that they did not provide "spend my yums" though I made the reservation under this section. The fork should communicate thoroughly with the restaurant so that the customers won't look like fools claiming their points. That's the whole point of using the app in the first place :)

The owner was really accommodating—she adjusted our dishes to what we wanted without making a fuss. Place has a nice floral touch, nothing overdone. Felt quite at home, honestly. Pretty good for a casual meal.

Discovered the restaurant on Dec9, 2022 and all of us took the 5-course menu. We extremely pleased by the quality of food, very warm & timely service, the quality of wine by glass. We will return to this restaurant ! Congratulations to the chef & team !

The terrace is the main draw here—even in winter it works. Staff didn't hover, just efficient. Shared the platter with a local beer; decent portion for two. Fine for a quick stop and watching the street. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. Prices fair for what you get.

Stopped by again on my last visit—still solid. The schnitzel was crispy and the potato salad had that nice tangy kick. Place gets busy around noon, so you might wait a bit. But honestly, the food came out fast once we ordered. Happy I picked this spot again.

The owners were really friendly and the food came out fresh. Kung Pao chicken and the sweet & sour ribs hit the spot. Free rice was a nice touch, bill felt fair for Belgium.

The cakes were fresh, the breakfast solid. Service friendly enough. Place gets busy, so expect a short wait. Nice to sit in an old building though.

The dim sum here is legit. We shared a bunch of plates and everything came out hot and fresh. Prices felt fair for the quality. Nothing fancy inside but that's fine by me.

The yogurt was a hit with my kid. Good quality, nice flavor. But the price per scoop is a bit much. Fine for a treat, not an everyday thing. We grabbed a couple scoops and headed out. Quick service, no waiting around. That's all I need for a lunch break.

The terrace in the back is still my favorite spot after all these visits. Dishes look as good as they taste, never gets old.

Very very good Pizza, nice service, smiling people, very beautiful ambiente. A very tasty Pizza like in Naples. People are very friendly and the service was fast.

The restaurant has a beautiful setting with a lovely garden, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The attentive service adds to the overall experience.

Came Saturday morning thinking they’d be serving food early—nope, kitchen opens at 9. Pre-made sandwiches were a bit too saucy for me, but the coffee hit the spot. Went back Monday, food was decent, though everything had a faint turmeric thing going on. Yogurt bowl and homemade peanut butter were the real winners. Service is slow, only three people doing everything, but they’re clearly trying.

The tomato soup keeps me coming back every time. Service stays friendly and quick, even on busy nights. Sure, it's a bit pricey and not the easiest spot to get to, but that soup's worth it.

Food came out quick, broth was decent. Not the most authentic tonkotsu I've had, but it hit the spot for a ramen craving. Place was busy for a Tuesday, which says something. I'd come back if I'm in the area and don't feel like cooking.

Came here on a whim and honestly left pretty full. Three courses with wine and water didn’t break the bank. The Russian salad was a nice fresh start, and the stew was properly tender. Maybe not mind-blowing, but solid for the price. I’d sit outside again if the weather cooperates.

The terrace is lovely, and the beer list is solid. My salad was fresh, though the portion felt a bit small.

Loved the porridge and avocado toast, and the soy cappuccino was actually legit. Nice to see vegan stuff clearly labeled for once. 😊

The classic burger was solid—good bun, decent meat. Clean spot, friendly enough staff. Only thing: they had the window open and some street smoke drifted in while I was eating. Would've liked a wine option that paired better with the burger, but the beer list covered the basics. Fine for a quick bite.

The owner actually remembers you. That alone makes this place stand out. Pizza was solid, the stuffed roll even better. Just be ready for the cash-only thing, caught me off guard the first time. Cozy little spot, feels genuinely local.

Popped in for a quick coffee, ended up staying way longer than planned. The retro decor is really well done, not over the top. Staff were friendly, made the short visit feel easy. Just wish the coffee had been a bit hotter, but the vibe made up for it. Nice little spot if you're in the area.

The eggplant with beans and pork bites really stood out. Hard to find that combo done this well around here. Place has a pub-like feel, close to the university. I’d go back just for that dish. Maybe slightly oily for my taste, but the freshness of the veggies came through.
