The head chef was off that night, but the younger guy running the pass didn’t miss a beat. Every plate came out sharp, inventive, properly seasoned. I let him pick a wine pairing for the tasting menu—worked out better than I expected. Only tiny gripe: pacing got a bit slow near the end. Still, solid cooking.

Great spot for a sunset dinner. Food came out fast, which I appreciated since I was on a tight schedule. Tried the grilled fish, decent portion but nothing extraordinary. Location is the real selling point here. Prices run a bit steep for the quality, but you're paying for the view. Fine for a one-off visit.

The chocolate ice cream really hit the spot after a day of walking around 🍦 Perfect little break before heading back to the hotel.

Decent menu with plenty of options, from sandwiches to pasta. The terrace on the little square is the best part. Food was fresh, though nothing fancy in presentation. Pretty good spot overall.

The beer list is solid and they serve each one in its own branded glass, which I liked. Halloumi salad was massive and pretty tasty. Service was friendly but a bit slow since it was busy.

Nice terrace, proper Limburg hospitality. Room was big enough and the bed slept well. Good spot to explore the area from.

Decent spot for a relaxed lunch. Had the salmon salad, it was fresh enough and the dressing was light. Service was friendly, didn't rush us. Prices are fair for the area. Only thing is it got a bit noisy when the afternoon crowd came in. Still, pretty good for a casual bite.

The mixed grill was decent—meat came out tender, not overcooked. Service was quick too, no complaints there. Only thing is the noise level once the place fills up. Got a bit hard to hear my friend across the table. Fine for a casual dinner, just don't expect a quiet evening.

Lovely little spot in Vaals! The carpaccio with that cheese topping was really good, and our waitress was super sweet. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. 🥂

Tasting menu was solid, plates looked great and the pacing was right. Wine pairing matched well. Pricey though, but you pay for the experience.

Lamb was really good and portions are huge for the price. We came with a group of friends and the staff didn't rush us at all. Solid spot for a casual catch-up 🙌

The fried egg with bacon and ham was solid. They swapped the bread for extra meat when I mentioned gluten, no fuss about it. Egg was still runny, bacon had a good crisp. My husband's croquettes came with thick-cut bread and a mustard that actually had some bite. Nothing fancy, but the food did what it needed to do.

The pizzas here are solid and the price is right—that’s the main thing. I had a decent bottle of red with mine, nothing fancy, but it did the job. Staff actually knew their menu when I asked for a pairing suggestion. Place gets busy around eight, so don’t expect a quiet dinner. Fine for what it is though.

Lovely little family spot. The owner actually came by to check if everything was alright. Had the grilled fish, cooked just right. Portion could be bigger for the price though.

The terrace view of the church is nice. Got the Big Ben burger, pretty solid. Staff handled the crowd well.

Warm welcome the moment we walked in, and the food was genuinely tasty. That kind of hospitality just makes you feel at home.

Stopped by for dinner while in Maaseik. Room’s got a nice vibe, not too loud. Food was solid—well prepared, decent portions. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Price felt fair for what you get. Wouldn’t go out of my way, but if you’re nearby it’s a safe pick.

Cozy little place, staff were easy to talk to. Had the pasta and it hit the spot, nothing fancy but solid. Wouldn't mind coming back.

The lunch menu here is honestly a solid deal. I had the set meal and everything came out fresh and properly cooked. Place is small but comfy, staff were nice enough. Only thing is it got a bit busy around 1pm, but that's on me for the timing. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The wine list here is seriously good, and the set menu was spot on. I loved the carpaccio, and the chicken stew was super comforting. Service was friendly and helpful too. Would be a fun spot to bring a few friends for a chill dinner. Maybe a bit quiet for a big group, but that’s fine. 😊

Decent Italian place, not too flashy. Carbonara was spot-on and the staff knew their stuff. Slightly pricey for what it is, but I'd go back.
