Free parking is a plus. Wine list was solid, matched well with the duck. Tables are a bit tight and it gets loud, but that didn't ruin the meal.

The fruit cake was a solid pick, and their wine list paired nicely with it. Cozy vibe, though a bit cramped.

The schnitzel was huge, really crispy on the outside. We sat near the window, and the light was warm, made the whole place feel cozy. Kids had a good time, they even had little things to keep them busy. Portions are definitely generous, we left stuffed. Maybe a bit busy on a Saturday night, but fine.

Came here on a busy evening, ordered the grilled chicken and some sides. Food was solid, flavors were there, nothing fancy but done right. Portion size surprised me, plenty for the price. Only downside, we waited a while for the food to come out. Not crazy long, but noticeable. If you're not in a rush, it's a decent spot.

Stopped by on a rainy afternoon and the owner let us sit and dry off before we even ordered. That alone says a lot. Had the chicken satay and sauerkraut—both had a proper homemade taste, not the usual reheated stuff. Place is small but comfortable. Only thing is it took a bit to get the food, but we weren't in a hurry. Fair price for what you get.

The falafel and shish tauk were really good, you can tell they make everything fresh in-house. We sat outside with a few friends and it was chill, not too loud. Service was friendly too. Only thing is the place is kinda small, but that didn't bother us much. Solid spot if you're in the area. 😊

Black and gold decor is really striking, modern rococo done well. Had the four cheese penne, pretty solid. Lots of vegetarian options too, which I always appreciate.

The setting of this tavern is beautiful, and the service is friendly. The unique experience of cooking your own meat on a hot stone adds a fun twist to the dining experience.

Been coming here for years, still my favorite dessert place in Aachen. The chocolate cake with fruits is exactly what I keep ordering—never disappoints. Coffee's solid too. Cozy inside, service is quick. Only thing: card only works over 10€, so bring cash if you're just grabbing a small thing.

The cocktail I had was properly balanced, not too sweet. Food came out fresh and hit the spot. Nice little place to unwind after work. Just wish they had a few more veggie options on the menu. But what I ordered was good.

Cozy spot with a proper Dutch bites menu. Staff knew their beers and helped me pick something that paired well with the bitterballen. Nice and warm inside on a chilly evening.

Great spot for a sunset dinner. Food came out fast, which I appreciated since I was on a tight schedule. Tried the grilled fish, decent portion but nothing extraordinary. Location is the real selling point here. Prices run a bit steep for the quality, but you're paying for the view. Fine for a one-off visit.

Decent menu with plenty of options, from sandwiches to pasta. The terrace on the little square is the best part. Food was fresh, though nothing fancy in presentation. Pretty good spot overall.

Cozy little place, staff were easy to talk to. Had the pasta and it hit the spot, nothing fancy but solid. Wouldn't mind coming back.

The apple strudel with vanilla sauce was warm and tasty. Upstairs seating gives you a nice view of the square, though the chairs felt a bit worn. Cozy old-fashioned vibe overall.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Schnitzel was solid and filling, salad bar fresh enough. Price was fair for what you get. Place has that old building charm, nothing fancy but comfortable. Staff friendly, no issues ordering in English. Got in and out in about 40 minutes, which worked for me.

The staff here are genuinely nice—one guy even helped us figure out the menu when we couldn’t decide. Made the whole thing way easier. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but for a quick catch-up with friends it was perfect. I’d pop back in if I’m in the area again 🙂

The baked camembert with bread was spot on, and the local stew had that rich, slow-cooked taste you don't find everywhere. Place was packed on a Tuesday night, yet the staff stayed friendly. Only thing—we waited a bit for the table, but once seated, everything came out quick. Solid choice if you're in the area.

The green curry here is legit. Got the noodle box too, decent portion for the price. Place looks basic from the outside but the food does the talking. I'd say it's a solid pick if you're in the area and craving Thai.

The terrace is lovely for a quiet break, and the museum setting adds to the vibe. Food was just okay though, and the croque monsieur felt pricey for what you get.

Cheese bun with egg mayo was fresh and filling. Sweet pastries okay, coffee meh. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Very helpful staff with some special requests due to my keto diet.Unfortunately Menu options were a little bit reduced (not sure if seasonally, or because there were big concerts nearby a couple weeks). But overall very good experience and also great discount with the fork

The cake display up front is seriously tempting — rows of chocolates and pastries that make you stop before you even order. I grabbed a baguette ancienne and some macarons. The baguette had that nice chewy texture, macarons were solid too. Seating area is a bit cramped but fine for a quick stop. Would go back for the other stuff.

Been here a few times now. The wraps are solid, that's what I keep coming back for. Flavor's consistent every visit, no complaints there. Staff's friendly enough when you walk in, but honestly I'd eat here even if they weren't. Just good food, plain and simple.

Staff’s always friendly and the place stays clean. Portions are solid for the price too. Been coming back for a while now and it hasn’t let me down.

Food’s solid every time I’ve been. Staff actually makes you feel welcome, not just doing the job. Decent spot if you’re in the area.
