TheForkUserWe went to Piccolo Arancio for lunch on our 2nd day in Rome and the food and service were so good that we went back for dinner on our last night in Rome. The black truffle pasta, Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, parma ham & melon appetizer and salad esotica were exceptional! If you like wines, they have an extensive list and are very helpful in selecting a wine that matches the meal and your flavor profile. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Rome,
TheForkUserI cannot thank Ditirambo enough! Amazing food(this was my 5th visit), and such an attentive and hospitable service! I am planning my visits to Ditirambo every time I'm in Rome!
TheForkUserGreat pizza. Given its location near the fountain, I was pleasantly surprised with how good the pizza was. Usually places close to tourist attractions don’t need to try hard on quality and just wave in hungry tourists. This place has excellent pizza in an excellent location.
TheForkUserThis is hands down one of the best restaurants we have been to - it was my daughter’s first night in Rome and we decided to try La Ciambella after seeing a recommendation the Financial Times. Everything was perfect - to the quiet location despite its proximity to the Pantheon, the beautiful open plan dining room and the charming staff led by Mirka who made us feel like a million dollars. We were lucky enough to sit facing the kitchen and received a warm greeting from Francesca the chef. She is a genius and runs a very good kitchen - it was so delightful to watch the bonhomie and good humour amongst the kitchen - hee team clearly love their jobs! The food was incredible - I must recommend the Roman tripe in particular - we tried it at several restaurants thereafter and none came close to Francesca’s. And the quality of the ingredients was first class. We enjoyed La Ciambella so much we have booked our return to Rome in December for a second visit - It was a privilege to eat here.
TheForkUserDelicious food served by an enthusiastic wait staff. It was hot but the misting fans really helped. We had wine and cocktails - all great. The lasagna was the bomb! And the lamb and steak were also big hits at our table.
TheForkUserVery beautiful restaurant with a nice view from the terrace. The service is excellent. The food quality is great; however, my lobster pasta dish really disappointed me: I couldn't find the lobster below a heap of cherry tomatoes. I left the dish half way and told the waiter when he asked. I did get the full bill, though, which was abundant.
TheForkUserWonderful environment: staff is friendly, place is beautiful and very close to Colosseo, and the food is simply the best. Strongly recommend
TheForkUserThe place is very unique and lovely, an extensive collection of wines and drinks, knowledgeable staff, the food was very good, so was the service and waiters.
TheForkUserExcellent location, nice terrace, and great food. The musical entertainment (a lady with a violin) also greatly added to an already wonderful evening. I will certainly come back.
TheForkUserWhat an amazing experience! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was incredible - all of the staff made us feel very welcome and they were there whenever we needed anything. We will definitely be back! A hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood.
TheForkUserWe booked a table in this restaurant for a special occasion when visiting Rome. Especially enjoyed the view as we sat close to the windows. The restaurant has nice atmosphere, lights are slightly dimmed, great taste decor, comfy seats, overall really cousy place. Also we were not disappointed by the food. From the mains we tried cod and risotto - delicious. Our waiter helped us with apperitf and wine selection - quite a selection to choose from. We definitely recommend.
