_TI***l2Le Moutardier du Pape is a must-visit for anyone in Avignon, not only for its excellent food but also for the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
TheForkUserDinner was exquisite. The gorgeous view, the restaurant’s ambiance, and the extremely thoughtful (and highly professional) service was outshone only by the superb meal and wines. We appreciated the delicious amuse-bouche, which more than hinted at the skillfully prepared entrees to come. This is a spectacular restaurant.
TheForkUserA cosy restaurant with perfect service.Although most of us were in a Moroccan restaurant for the first time, everyone thought the food was excellent. We enjoyed the evening and can only recommend the restaurant.
TheForkUserThe restaurant is an upscale, small place with a nice ambience. The staff were all friendly and helpful especially when it came to choosing the wine. We were offered tastes of several wines before deciding on our wine. The food was well prepared and interesting. We enjoyed trying new entrees, appetizers and desserts. Well worth the dinner!
TheForkUserWe are so pleased that we found this wonderful restaurant with rooms in a remote area of Vaucluse. Sitting under a large shady tree enjoying a lovely lunch with local wines makes a perfect holiday. Very good value and friendly service
TheForkUserBest food by far on our trip! Be sure to try the pulled pork, burger and chicken (special of the day). Amazing service and ambiance as well!!!
TheForkUserGood quality/price Brasserie in Avignon, it was our second time and they keep the excellent service (better french fries this last time), thank you!
TheForkUserLou Piadina was a nice little restaurant in a not too busy part of Avignon. We arrived at 19:00 and the restaurant and square were fairly empty. The staff was very friendly and took the opportunity to practice their English. It was a learning opportunity for us as well as the very friendly waitress taught us so French colloquialisms. The food was great, simple, and filled us up. Great outdoor atmosphere.
_TI***bfThis restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with a charming atmosphere and attentive service. The chef's salad is a must-try!
TheForkUserWe come back to this restaurant every year when we are on holiday. Everything about this little gem is wonderful!!!! The food is superb quality, the people lovely and friendly and very forgiving of less than perfect French, and their wine is gorgeous, and available to buy from their small cave!
TheForkUserWe had a fabulous meal at Le Petit Henri. It’s a beautiful setting, the service was excellent, the food was out of this world (the turbot was a standout) and our wine was perfect. This place is a gem in L’isle s/Sorgue which is a picture post card town. We will be back!
TheForkUserFirstly, I don’t understand the negative reviews I read on google. This place was stunning, so beautiful and the food was exceptional. I had the tomatoes and peaches, then the tuna crudo, and the Guinea fowl and it was all superb. Service was lovely too and the setting looking down on the fountain was majestic. Would highly recommend
TheForkUserAdorable place. Food was great. Bring your bug spray for the mosquitoes.
TheForkUserGreat ambience and very personal service - led by Dominique - truly hands on with every aspect. Great cuisine and engaging staff
TheForkUserGreat staff and good food. The tuna ceviche was exceptionally good. And the grilled aubergine and goat cheese starter was delicious. We will return on our next trip to Lourmarin.
TheForkUserLovely find on our last night in Avignon. Beware, portion sizes are huge - I had the salad verso, that would have done a main course but then I had the pizza cap, lovely and spicy but twice the size of the pizzas everyone else was eating, so check the size before ordering. Definitely no room for dessert. Lovely friendly service. Wish we’d found it on day 1.
TheForkUserFabulous friendly staff who greatly helped our young children, fabulous fresh food and a unique case (grotto) setting made for a memorable experience for our family.
TheForkUserThis is a tiny, wonderful place. Very small menu, three mains and three entrees a night. The food was lovingly, creatively and tastefully prepared. The couple that run and make everything happen are skillful and seem to love what they do. We in turn loved the food and the wine and the people who attended to us.
_TS***q8La Cour Du LouvreDO NOT BOTHER TO COME! I had the most horrible experience in my life. The owner is the waiter. when I tried to pay the bill, I noticed that I was overcharged by her and I pointed it out. The receipt on the right is what tried to charge. when we ordered the appetizer and the entree, it has a bundled price of 36 euro. but when we tried to pay the bill, she separated the two items and charged 17 euro extra! I protested and said it was not fair. She then started yelling and shouting and even shut the door and tried to block me in her restaurant. I was so scared that I tried to call the police. In the end she went back to the original pricing after all the drama but she charged me 5 EURO for using the bathroom. She called this “REPAS CLIENTS” meaning client meal but she said this charge is for using the toilette. There were a roomful of people when this all happened. i told her that I will write a bad review. and I did a google review. I cannot believe she asked her friend to write a review to attack me personally. do you dare coming to such a restaurant?
TheForkUserSteet Cafe vibe in a cool location. Great burgers, friendly staff. Would definitely return and recommend. ..............................
