TheForkUserWarm welcome. First course arrived after half an hour. We ordered an extra main dish, because the portions of schnitzel where small. They completely forgot the order. Deserts weren't fresh, chocolate sauce on the brownie was needed to make it less dry. When we got the check, the forgot to put on the discount. When we mentioned that, the behaviour of the waitress changed in a bad way.

TheForkUserTaco Friday is always a pleasure. No fish tacos today, but the shrimp tacos more than made up for it. Jessica is such a lovely hostess and the great weather meant we could relax by the brook outside. Love the authentic and delicious flavours.

TheForkUserI’ve eaten here at least 5-6 times during the past ten years and normally it’s great but tonight was awful:1. They had no record of my reservation. When I showed them my confirmed reservation email on my phone they said that they don’t honor Fork reservations this week due to a large convention in town! They finally sat our party of five at a tiny table and when I asked if we could sit at the nearby empty larger table they replied, “No, that’s for people that make a reservation!”2. The food took over an hour to arrive, even after we complained. No apology. 3. Since we were late for our train we skipped dessert and paid our bill along with a 20 Euro tip. But this took so long that we missed our train and decided to order two deserts and a bottle of water. When we got up to leave the owner was standing near our table and I handed her 25 Euros to cover the two desserts and bottle of water. Then we walked out the door onto the sidewalk. Suddenly a waiter comes bursting through the door yelling that we never paid for our desserts! I explained that I paid the owner 25 Euros already, but he said “Oh OK, but it’s 26.5 Euros so we need another 1.5 Euros!” Really?? I just paid 260 Euros plus a 20 Euro tip for food that was an hour late and now you’re going to chase me out to the sidewalk and embarrass me in front of my largest client for 1.5 Euros??!! So I dug up a 50 Euro note and he returned with the wrong change (shorting me 25 Euros), which I had to go back inside and correct. I’m never coming here again.

TheForkUserThe place is really nice and cosy. Very good for family gatherings or bday celebrations I would say. I loved the portions of food and the presentation. The only downside of the place is that I feel that the food is to salty. In general I like my food with a good amount of salt, but this time I felt like it was too much…but maybe its just my taste… everything else was great. Great service, great ambiance.
