TheForkUserThe elegant terrace commands a fine view of St Paul de V and surrounding coutntryside. There were three menu options. we chose the Menu du Marche. Original pairings and flavours thoughout. To start, pan fried foie gras came in a scented almond milk mousse on a cherry tartlet. Exceptional and unusual. Then veal filet, served slightly pink, with mini croquette and gravy reduction. Again both seasoning and presentation almost perfect. We avoided the cheese plate as too robust in such hot weather, and followed instead with the red fruit pavlova. The lunch was discretly presented and the bill in line with expectation. We did not explore the wines but feel sure the sommelier would have guided us expertly.
