The staff here are so nice! It was packed when we went, but they still checked in with us about the wait. Really appreciated that.

Great spot for a family dinner. Food is fresh and portions are generous. Staff were helpful when we needed a small celebration arranged.

Lovely homely feel here, really liked that. The service was spot on. Honestly, some of the best Japanese food in Portsmouth, no fuss about it. Just a good, simple meal.

Booked for a group meal. The staff handled our large table really smoothly, which was a relief. Everyone seemed happy with their food, and the presentation was lovely. Just a nice, easy evening.

Proper old school kebab joint, hasn't changed a bit in years. The food here feels cleaner and a bit healthier than most other spots, which I really appreciate.

Came with a group of friends and the portions are huge! We shared a few mains and still had leftovers. The prawn crackers to start were a nice touch. Perfect for when you want to try a bit of everything.

Came here on a Thursday night, place was packed. Ordered the lamb shank, it was huge! Honestly, the portion was so generous I couldn't finish it. For the price, you're definitely getting your money's worth.

The full English here is a proper one. Fried eggs were spot on, runny yolks and all. Portions are big, especially for what you pay. A bit of a wait for a table on a Sunday, but that's expected. Solid choice.

Lovely breakfast spot. The staff were so kind and attentive to our little one, even found us a quieter table. My eggs were cooked just right, and the coffee was strong. A nice, calm start to the day.

Been coming here for years, it's always busy for a reason. The food's solid, comes out hot and fast. Menu's got a bit of everything. Staff are friendly, they remember you.

Stopped in for a quick business lunch. The prawn and avocado salad was fresh and well-portioned. Staff were efficient and corrected an order mix-up promptly. Good spot for a quiet, productive meeting.

Been coming here for years. Elliott and the team always make it feel like the heart of the neighbourhood.

The fish and chips were just what I needed on a grey afternoon. It's a proper, old-school place. I liked the simple wooden booths and the quiet hum of the fryer. No fuss, just good comfort food.

The staff here are so lovely. Tianah and Ruby were both really friendly and attentive, which made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy. It's nice when the service is just right, not too fussy but always there when you need something.

Breakfast was served hot, good portion sizes. Menu has plenty of options which is useful. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. Decent value for the location.

The open kitchen is a nice touch, you can see everything being prepared. Staff were really friendly. Food was excellent, especially the pasta. The place itself is nicely decorated, feels modern but cosy. Would go back.

Had a really nice meal here. The seats were comfortable, which made it easy to relax. Looking forward to coming back to try their Sunday roast.

The messy burger is consistently good, I order it often. The modern interior is clean and simple.

The spiced apple drink is a good option if you're not having coffee. It's warm and hits the spot on a chilly day. A bit sweet for my taste, but that's just me.

The hot and sour soup was just right, not too fiery. The satay and soupy noodles were good, but the duck was a bit dry for my taste.

The loaded fries with steak were a proper feed. The chips were crispy, the steak bits were tender, and the whole thing was just a bit messy in the best way. My dog was chuffed with his free sausage too. Solid spot.

Came here for a quiet lunch. The wine list was decent, a few nice options. Service was good, they left us to it which was nice. Just felt the prices were a bit steep for a weekday lunch, especially in the off-season.

The staff were so friendly, made us feel right at home. They had a live band playing, which was a nice touch for a relaxed evening. Noticed they had a cash machine outside too, handy for splitting the bill. A pleasant spot for a casual night out.

Booked for nine last minute on a Friday, and they squeezed us in. The portions were huge, everything tasted fresh. Staff were really friendly. Made for a nice birthday dinner.

Don't let the plain front put you off. The chips were spot on - crispy outside, fluffy inside, and clearly just cooked. That's what I came for. The rest of the meal was fresh, simple, and hit the spot.

Stopped by for fish and chips. The haddock was spot on, really fresh. Chips were good, curry sauce and mushy peas too. Simple and hit the spot.

Loved the crab sandwich! A bit on the pricier side, but such a nice spot for a casual catch-up with friends.
