Lovely local pub, very family and dog friendly. The massive garden is a real plus. I appreciated that the kids' menu had some simple, fresh options like carrot sticks and hummus alongside the usual fare. The garden made for a relaxed Sunday lunch.

The cocktails are expertly made, and the service is personable. It's a lovely place for a drink before or after dinner, with an exceptional cheese board.

The burger was the standout. Juicy patty cooked just right, not dry at all. The bun was soft and held together well. Chips were crispy and properly seasoned. That's what I came for.

Nice to see this pub under new management. The homemade bread was a highlight, really good. Prices are decent too. It's become a reliable spot for a meal when I'm in the area.

Decent portions, cooked nicely. The staff were friendly and kept an eye on things without hovering. It was a solid, pleasant meal.

Staff were really nice. The Thai curry had that proper kick to it, just like I remember from trips. Fish and chips were decent too, crispy outside. Solid spot for a casual bite.

As a coeliac, I felt safe here. Bryony really knew her stuff, explained the kitchen's allergy procedures clearly. Got the gluten-free fish and chips, no issues. Quick service too, which I appreciate.

First time here. The steak was the best I've had, period. Cooked perfectly, incredible flavour. That's all I needed to know. Will be back for that.

Stumbled upon this place and now it's a regular stop in Portsmouth. The atmosphere is just right—cozy and relaxed, with comfortable seating that makes you want to linger. We've enjoyed everything we've tried from the menu.

The drinks list is a real highlight. They had a lovely house-made ginger beer and a couple of interesting seasonal cocktails. A nice touch for when you're not in the mood for wine.

Popped in for their Easter roast. The lamb was so tender it fell apart, and the gravy was something else. Honestly, the best part of the meal. Rest was fine, but that gravy though.

Stopped in before the ferry. The food was good, solid value. They even brought a water bowl for our dog, which was a nice touch. The house red was a bit simple, but it did the job with the pasta. Would pop in again.

Got a Sunday carvery table without booking, lucky! Portions are huge, the beef and pork were really good. Roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese too. With the senior discount, it's a steal.

Took a group of 9 for Sunday lunch, kids included. Staff handled it well on a busy day. Good amount of space, not cramped like some places. Food portions were generous, decent choice. Parking was straightforward.

Came for lunch before the rugby. The Six Nations special menu had an Italian burger with pizza toppings. Honestly, for the price, the portion was a bit on the small side. It was tasty and cooked well, but I was still a little peckish afterwards.

The gluten-free pasta was a standout. They've got a few vegan choices too, which is nice. The pasta itself had a good texture, not mushy at all. Sauce was simple but flavourful.

The Sunday carvery is such good value! Perfect for a catch-up with friends, loads of options and it's all kept fresh.

A lovely local pub. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, which makes it a really comfortable spot to unwind. We enjoyed a couple of drinks and a game of darts. A nice, easy evening out.

Cosy traditional pub, good for a casual meal. Had the fish and chips - decent portion, batter was crisp. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. A solid option if you're in the area and want a straightforward pub meal. Nothing fancy, but reliable.

Perfect for a quick bite before the game. Just round the corner from the stadium. Food arrives fast, beer's always cold. Exactly what you need.

A decent spot for a group dinner. The atmosphere was lively, which was nice. They were fine with our dog, which made it easy for everyone. The food was pretty good, though a couple of dishes came out a bit slower than the rest.

The birria tacos and loaded fries at Loco Lime were a solid choice. What I really liked was the space itself—the high ceilings and those big industrial-style windows made it feel really open and airy while we ate.

Organised a business lunch here. The team handled everything from planning to execution smoothly. Staff were efficient, kept things moving, and our guests were well looked after. A very professional operation.

The Wednesday deal is the way to go. Half-price on the food and two-for-one cocktails. The lamb shank was the standout, cooked for hours until it just fell apart. The sauce was rich, not too heavy. Cocktails were decent, nothing fancy.

Service was on point. Our order for four came out together and fast. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Leo was a fantastic waiter, so attentive and friendly. He kept our glasses topped up all evening, which was a really nice touch.
