Lovely spot right on the beach. Had a late lunch here on a sunny Saturday, the view is really something. My fish and chips were decent, though the chips were a touch under-seasoned for my taste. Still, hard to beat that location.

The butter chicken here is spot on. The sauce is rich and creamy, with just the right amount of spice that doesn't overpower the chicken. It's exactly what you want from that dish. The biryani is good too, but the chicken is the main event.

Been coming here for years, and the set lunch is always a solid choice. Good value, never disappoints.

Friendly staff handled our large order well. The steak with blue cheese sauce was solid, paired with a local lager.

Lovely cozy pub. The live music on Friday was a nice touch. What really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients in their ploughman's lunch. The cheese was sharp and the pickles had a real crunch. A simple, well-made plate.

Solid pub classics and some more refined options too. The portions are generous, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. I really appreciated how comfortable the seating was - not something you always find. Made for a relaxed meal.

Butter chicken takeaway had a good amount of chicken, really tasty. The naan was excellent too, soft and warm. Solid choice for a quick dinner.

I haven't been to the Fishers Pond so this was a trip back in time. The setting is still as I remember, obviously the staff and menu wasn't going to be the same but I wasn't disappointed, the menu provides a variety of dishes and the roast which we chose was probably one of the best i have had. As for the staff, friendly and efficient, so big 10/10 to all!

Really clean and tidy when we popped in, perfect for a casual catch-up with friends.

Lovely little spot, feels like a warm hug. The staff were super friendly, really made us feel at home. Had a nice, relaxed lunch here.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us great tips on what to see nearby. It really felt like the heart of the neighbourhood.

Been coming here for years, and it's always well-stocked with Isle of Wight products. Nice to know the shop supports the Abbey.

Love how much space there is here! Plenty of tables inside and out. It's perfect for catching up with a group - you never feel cramped. You order at the counter and they bring it over. Staff were really nice.

Great spot by the seafront. Drinks are cheap and they've got a massive selection.

Booked for three nights, right on the Shanklin seafront which was ideal. Ate in the restaurant each evening. The portions were really generous for the price, which was a pleasant surprise. My partner and I both had the fish and chips one night – very filling. Good value for a seaside stay.

Huge portions here, perfect for a quick bite. The seafood platter is massive, easily enough for two. They even threw in a free bottle of wine. Got in and out fast during my lunch break.

The chicken and ham hock pie was a proper, hearty dish. I had it with a glass of their house red, which cut through the richness nicely. A solid choice for a cold evening.

First time here, and I’ll definitely return. I went for the ham and croissant—so simple but really good. The croissant was buttery and flaky, just right. My husband’s club sandwich looked great too. Next time I’m trying something a bit more adventurous from the menu!

Been coming here for years, and Janie’s service is always spot on. She’s got a real knack for making you feel looked after without being over the top. Just a genuine smile and good chat. That kind of consistency keeps me coming back.

Love that they offer gluten-free and vegan options. Unlimited tea for a quid is a nice touch! Just a heads up, it's cash only.

Food was tasty and portions were generous. The staff were really friendly too, made it a nice spot for a casual catch-up.

Tapas menu is the standout. Octopus and mussels had good flavour. They brought them out at a steady pace, which worked well.

Came for a special dinner. The mussels were incredible – perfectly cooked, fantastic broth. Kitchen clearly knows what they're doing. Service was spot-on too. A really good night.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The steak and ale pie was steaming hot, really hit the spot on a cold day. Nice to see a few dogs chilling with their owners too.

The staff here are always so nice. I love how you can just scan the QR code on the table to order—it makes everything super quick and easy. No waiting around to flag someone down!

The team here are so lovely and really looked after us. They tweaked a couple of dishes for my friend who’s a bit picky, which was a really nice touch. Made our catch-up feel extra relaxed.

Service was spot on, staff were really friendly and attentive. Food came out quick, which was great. Felt relaxed the whole time.

The coconut rice is rich and creamy, with a really authentic coconut flavour. Best I've had outside Thailand.

Nice to see solid vegan choices alongside the classics. The wine list had a good pairing for the mushroom dish.
