TheForkUserA fantastic evening in a hidden gem.An adequate variety of typical pugliese dishes with a fine touch of a modern twist. Seafood, pasta and not to forget burrata and a short and well selected list of wines.All is profoundly balanced in taste and beautifully presented. No alibi salad or raw rosemary branches, only the dish and well thought through accompanying edible garnish. Our favorite: grilled pulpo bedded on a cream of lemony potatoes, fried carrots smoked burrata and finished with a herbal cream aside. Perfectly combined ingredients, technically very well performed.We also tried the incredibly juicy gilthead seebream with herbs, slowly baked in a parchment coat and grilled vegetables with fresh mint which is an amazing twist to freshen up a well known side dish.Dolci: hand made pastries and desserts + the artisanal gelato the team makes. My favourite - the heavenly soft short pastry pie with a lemon pastry cream. These local slow food places should run this world.

TheForkUserI feel bad writing this because I know this is someone’s life’s work - but this was probably the worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Food was cold (and we could hear the microwave working hard in the back), and we were given paper plates. The price did not really represent this - it was quite pricy. We were so thrilled to eat some Indian after a long time in Italy but unfortunately this was not a success.

Agriturismo La Morò

TheForkUserHome food, simple and tasty like it has to be when you visit a farm. We were glad to be there for dinner in the garden beside the house. The menu is based on veggies and meat. The dessert was the only disappointing point with its pasticciotto ice cream, but it is quite normal in restaurants that the dessert is not at the level of the main courses. Recommended.

TheForkUserI went for lunch and it was so good I returned for dinner. I had the costata di cavallo for lunch and pasta for dinner. Both excellent. You must try Alberto's rose wine...delicious. And, just let Alberto pick the dolce for you. I will return!
