Came here with a couple friends and we went for the seafood platter plus the picanha on the hot stone. The meat was really good, and the sides—seafood rice and beans—were solid. Only thing is the seafood in the platter was a bit overcooked, but honestly the vibe was nice and service was friendly. Good spot for a casual catch-up 😊

Right on the sand, and the interior is really something. Food was solid, though we waited a while between courses. I had a glass of the local white with the grilled fish—good match. Staff were friendly enough about the delay. Would come back for the view alone.

The grilled fish was fresh and the portions were generous. Loved the airy, rustic setting too. Just wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable, but for the price, I can't complain.

The wine list surprised me—good Portuguese reds that paired nicely with the pizza. Staff spoke English and helped me pick a decent Douro. Solid spot if you're tired of tourist traps.

It’s a nice, cozy place. The food was excellent, very well cooked. The service was good. I think it was a very nice choice for us in selecting this restaurant

Upstairs room has a nice view of the church and ocean. Food tasted fresh, not heavy. Bill for two with wine was under €25, fair for what you get.

The grilled sea bass was cooked perfectly and the vegetables tasted really fresh. Nice spot for a lighter meal in the old town. Service was attentive without hovering.

Seafood platter for four was a solid pick — plenty of food and the barnacles were new to me, fun to crack open. Good deal for what you get.

Stopped by for a gelato after dinner—great flavor selection, though the place was a bit busy. A glass of something crisp would've paired nicely with the pistachio scoop. Fair prices for the area.

The francesinha was solid and the staff were friendly enough. Sauce could've been thicker for my taste, but for the price it was a decent meal.

Big plates, fair price. Pasta was solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Staff kept it moving, no long wait. Fine for a quick dinner if you're in the area.

The seafood rice was loaded with shrimp and clams, really tasty. Service stood out too, checked on us just enough. Caramel fondant was a solid finish.

Menu’s not big but everything we had was solid. Showed up late and they still took care of us with a smile. That’s why I keep coming back.

The view here is honestly the whole reason to come. Sat by the window watching the waves while sipping a gin and tonic — felt like time just slowed down. Drinks were solid, food was just okay though. But for a relaxed drink by the sea, it does the job. 🌊

Came in for a quick lunch, place looks great inside. Took the tapas set, thought I’d leave hungry but portions were solid. Everything came out fast, which I needed. Food was decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but fine for a one-off.

The chicken here is seriously good. I get why this place is such a staple in Póvoa de Varzim. It was packed when I went, mostly locals, which is always a good sign. The meal was simple but satisfying. Just wish I had more room to try the other stuff on the menu.

Food was good and came out fast, prices are fair too. Took my friends here and we all left happy. Solid spot if you're nearby 👍

Came here for a late lunch after the beach. The terrace really is something else, you're basically right on the Atlantic. Had the Francesinha à Bombordo, sauce was rich, bread held up well. Staff checked on us a couple times, not pushy. Only thing, it got a bit busy around 2pm, but that's on us for the timing. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The grilled meat here is really something else. Portions are generous, prices fair. We sat near the back and the live music drifted over just enough, not too loud. Felt like a proper local place. Only thing, service was a bit slow but the food made up for it.

The grilled octopus was spot on, and the meat dishes came out super tender. Prices felt fair for what you got. Would've loved a better wine list to match, though. 🍷

Stopped by for lunch, mostly locals and a few fishermen. Got the grilled fish — tasted like it came straight off the boat. Way fresher than most places around. Price was fair too, not touristy at all. Staff was chill, didn't rush me. Place is a bit worn but that's part of the charm. Would eat here again.

Been coming here for years and the food stays consistent. The grilled fish with boiled potatoes was fresh, simple, no fuss. Daily menu is cheap for what you get. Mário remembered my usual order, which I appreciate. Only thing is it gets a bit busy around 1pm, so I try to come earlier. Solid spot for a quiet lunch.

The sarrabulho rice really hit the spot, especially with the fireplace going. Hearty and full of flavor, exactly what I needed on a cold evening. The place has that old-school feel, nothing fancy, but the warmth made it comfortable. Service was fine, not hovering or anything. Just a solid meal in a cozy spot.

Stopped by for lunch on a work trip. Got the charcuterie board and a local beer—both were solid. Portions are generous for the price, which is hard to find around here. Owners were friendly without hovering. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the onion cod. Cooked just right, flaky and that onion topping really works. Place feels proper old-school, nothing fancy but solid. Staff were friendly enough. Would eat that cod again for sure.

Old school spot by the river, been around forever. Food was solid, nothing fancy but done right. Bill came out a bit higher than expected though.

Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly the food was fresh. Staff kept checking in, nice vibe. Place is small but cozy. Maybe a bit slow when it got busy but I didn’t mind. Would come back if I’m in the area again.
