Nice spot, really liked the outdoor seating area. Breakfast was decent, nothing crazy but it worked. Gluten-free stuff was a bit scarce though. Walked into town after, took about half an hour, which was fine. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The food was good and portions were generous, no complaints there. We had the chocolate mousse for dessert and it was really nice. Service was a bit slow though, we waited a while between courses. But the staff were friendly enough about it. I'd come back if I'm in the area again, just maybe not when I'm in a hurry.

The set menu for two at €35 is solid—four courses, wine, and coffee. The cod was the highlight, though the lamb held its own too. Desserts wrapped it up nicely.

Stopped by late for a bite. Got the steak and it was properly tender, melted in the mouth. Place was quiet, which I liked. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Solid if you're hungry after hours and want something decent.

Decent seafood spot, nothing fancy. Owner knows his stuff and was happy to chat about Portuguese dishes. Pretty good if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a quick dinner during a work trip. Got the grilled fish and rice, pretty solid. Place was busy but I got a seat fast. Price was fair for what you got. Not fancy, but it does the job. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now. Pastries are always fresh, and they never rush you out even if you're just having a coffee. Solid spot for a lazy morning.

Great staff and delicious meal we are from Canada and they went out of their way to make out meal a great experience. Team was very friendly and helpful.

Came here for a late lunch and the wild boar stew really stood out. Tender meat, rich sauce, exactly what I needed after a long morning. Place has a nice local vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Service was fine, no complaints. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The grilled octopus was the only thing that mattered to me. Cooked right, tender, smoky enough. Didn't care about the tables or how long the waiter took. Just that plate. Maybe a bit pricey for the portion, but I'd order it again. That's it.

Been coming here for a while now. The courtyard still gets me every time—so peaceful. Veggie menu's got some real thought behind it, even my carnivore friends liked it.

Big portions, tasty seafood, and the house wine did the job. Prices felt fair for what you got. Place is a bit off the tourist trail, which I liked.

The homemade desserts are honestly the best part — we grabbed a table with friends and the waitress kept checking if we needed anything. Burgers have proper meat quality too, not like the usual spots around here. Only thing is it got a bit loud later, but for a casual hangout it works 👌

Stopped here for dinner after wandering around the old town. Got the dry-aged steak and honestly it was pretty damn good. Sat outside on the terrace, nice spot to just watch people go by. Wine list had some solid options too. Place was a bit busy but that's fine.

Found this spot on a little side street close to the main squares. We came for a late lunch with friends and honestly the picanha was cooked so well, super juicy. Portions are huge, we couldve shared honestly. Prices are really fair for what you get. Just a heads up, it gets busy around 1pm so you might wait a bit. Would come back for sure. 😊

The seating here is what got me. Chairs are actually comfortable, you can sit for a while without getting stiff. I had a coffee and just relaxed, no rush at all. Staff left me alone but checked in when needed. Place has a younger crowd but nobody minds an older lady just chilling. Decor's been updated, looks fresh. Solid spot if you want an easy, low-stress break.

A new restaurant tucked behind a shopping gallery. There were only 2 other customers during a Thursday dinner.Food is pan-iberian. We had very good patatas bravas and a flamed sausage as starters, and shared a paella which had quite a lot of liquid and not the socarrat we like. We got also a good tuna spread sandwich as a bonus. The waiter is sweet but shy with customers. Give this place a chance and try it yourself.

Walked in not knowing anyone and left feeling like a regular. The staff actually pay attention—opened our wine bottle without us even asking. Little things like that make a difference. Just a glass of wine and they still treated us well. Place was busy but they didn't rush us. Solid service, plain and simple.

The tasting menu hit all the right notes. The cod was cooked perfectly, flaky and moist. That chocolate dessert with pepper, salt, and olive oil was wild, actually worked. Red Vinho Verde in the traditional bowl, nice touch. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but the flavors were solid.

The patio under the vines is the reason to come here. Had the sardines and the cod appetizer, both solid. The Douro wine paired nicely with the fish, which made the whole thing click. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry. Good spot for a relaxed evening.

The terrace view over the Douro River is really something. We drove a bit to get there, not the easiest spot to find, but once you're sitting down it's fine. I had the grilled fish, portion was decent for the price. Not the cheapest place around, but you're paying for that view, so I get it. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The place looks really nice inside, cozy and well decorated. I ordered the grilled octopus and it came out beautifully plated, tender and full of flavor. Service was friendly, not too pushy. Only thing is the tables are a bit close together, but for a casual dinner it worked fine. I'd go back for that octopus again.

Ham and cheese on Padronelo bread. 6 euros. That's it, that's the review. Simple stuff done right. Bread was proper, cheese melted nice. Not much else to say. Would grab it again if I'm in the area.

The terrace view over the river is just lovely. Had the roast kid and feijoada — both hearty, proper Portuguese flavors. Sunday lunch felt easy and unhurried.

The grilled octopus was the standout. Cooked properly, charred on the edges, tender inside. Didn't need the sauce it came with. The portion was decent for the price. I'd skip the starter next time and just order two of those.

No menu, just whatever they’re cooking that day. Portions are massive and the homemade desserts were a nice surprise. Simple spot, nothing fancy, but the food speaks for itself.

Decent spot for a proper home-cooked meal. Food was clearly made with care, staff friendly enough. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

The house wine was decent and went well with the meal. We sat on the terrace, which was a nice choice even though the street got a bit busy. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Pretty good spot for a casual dinner if you're in the area.

Simple spot, decent prices. The hake in tomato and onion sauce was tasty, service quick. Nothing fancy but does the job.

We booked the private room for a pre-wedding dinner, around 60 people. Staff handled the whole thing pretty smoothly, drinks kept coming, food arrived hot. The set menu had a good range, everyone found something they liked. Only small thing—service got a bit slow later in the night, but understandable with such a big group. Solid spot for events.
