The veggie tacos and fajitas were a hit with our group, and the service stayed friendly even when it got busy. Nice spot for a casual dinner.

Lovely little coffee spot — the owners were super friendly and even chatted with us in Portuguese. Pastries were fresh, too. Would happily go back for another espresso.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Garlic shrimp were solid, scallops cooked right. Service was on point, no complaints there. Felt like a proper local spot, not a tourist trap. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The river fish lived up to the hype—fried version was super fresh and tasty.

The octopus with garlic and parsley was seriously good, so tender. We sat near the kitchen and watched the chef work, that was cool. Staff even tried to teach us how to say the dish name in Portuguese, we butchered it but they were patient. Fun spot for a casual dinner with friends. Maybe a bit busy but fine.

Excellent price/quality ratio. High quality fish and quick service.Staff was really nice and made us feel welcome. Will definitely return. From what I had, I recommend the veggie gyozas and the chef nigiris.

We had an amazing time! The service and the environment was excellent and really cozy. The food was delicious - positively surprising when it comes to the the amount of food served, super fulfilling and marvilous!Thank you for everything! Definitely an experience to repite.

Lovely spot for a slow lunch. We shared one main between two and still left full. Service was friendly without hovering. Just wish the coffee had been hotter.

Came here with a couple of friends after someone recommended it. The pork was super thick and tasty, honestly the highlight for me. They even grow potatoes outside which I thought was cool. Dessert was homemade pudding, so good. Place is a bit rustic but that’s the charm I guess. Would come back if I’m in the area again 😊

We came here five times in one week, that says it all. The food was consistently good and the portions were solid. Staff were friendly too.

Stopped here for lunch after walking along the river. Got the bacalhau and it was proper homemade, not fancy at all. Portion was huge, could barely finish. Family running the place were really friendly, made me feel at ease. Simple food but done right. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Perfect moment and dîner at monverde ! Thank you so much for all.Ambiance, dîner, view, propre working here are amazing. We love to come back ☺️ !

Stopped by for a Bolo Rei and a coffee. Pastry was fresh, interior is nicer than most places in the area. Service was quick. Prices are a bit high, but fair for the quality.

The terrace really is something else — right on the river, quiet enough to just sit there with a coffee and a pastry and let the afternoon slip by. Coffee was fine, nothing to write home about, but those pastries? They did the heavy lifting. Would've liked a better wine list to go with them, honestly. Still, hard to beat that view.

The rice and beans with cod fritters hit the spot. Red vinho verde was a nice touch too. Quick service, no fuss. Solid spot for a lunch break.

The calzone was solid and filling, and the price felt right for what you get. A nice glass of red would've made it even better.

The staff were so nice about adjusting stuff for our veggie friend 🥲 food was solid too, nothing crazy but def a good spot for a casual catch-up.

The owner talked me into trying a white port and honestly it was a solid pick. You can tell they actually care about what they serve. Grabbed some cold cuts and cheese from the deli downstairs on the way out too. Nice little spot.

Stopped by for lunch last week. Grilled cod was solid, properly cooked, decent size portion. Place is basic, nothing fancy, but you get what you pay for. Fair price for the amount of food. I'd go back if I'm in the area and want something simple.

We almost walked past it, small place, no fancy signs. So glad we didn't. The food was proper homemade, big portions, I couldn't finish mine. The lady running it was lovely, made us feel right at home. Just a heads up, they only take cash, so come prepared. Definitely going back.

The Angus picanha was spot on, really juicy. Chocolate mousse to finish hit the right note too. Terrace is nice if you can grab a seat.

The €4 dish was tasty and filling, honestly hard to beat for the price. The two ladies running the place were so warm and friendly, made me feel right at home. I liked that they didn’t rush me, just let me sit and enjoy my meal. A bit busy around noon, but still a nice, easy stop.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and honestly, the staff really saved the day. Helped me sort out a ride after I finished eating, which I didn't expect. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but it did the job. Wine was decent too. Service like that makes you wanna come back.

The lamb was properly tender, fell right off the bone. You can tell they use the wood-fired oven properly, gives everything that smoky edge. Place was pretty packed when I went, so seating felt a bit tight, but the food made up for it. Would come back for that lamb again.

Grabbed a quick bite here during lunch. The homemade snacks were fresh, really hit the spot. Service was fast enough for my break. Place gets busy around noon, but worth it. I'd come back for those snacks again.

Stopped by for lunch. Cornbread was solid, then the rice with sausage and the steak really hit the spot. Some of the best we've had around here. Service was friendly too. Place has a nice vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Would go back if I'm in the area again.
