from the way the wonderful house manager Antonio met us at the little parking spot next to the restaurant, to the wonderful property they have, to the food and presentation, to the wonderful WI es and Antonio's expertise in pairings, everything was superb with tonight's dinner.

Small local site 3km out of Guimarães city, offer a simple menu dishes (meat and fish).Their speciality is "Churrasqueira" seen the local sign has raffigure a chicken.Staff are unable to speak English, so was difficult having communication with them, abundant portion of food, but in my plate there was an exaggeration of onions.

Great Portuguese food with large portions. The meat is grilled in the charcoal and was great. Also great codfish. Nothing fancy but a great service and place to taste good food at a good price.

The house vinho verde was the highlight—bright, a little fizzy, went well with everything we ordered. Desserts came from a local pastry chef, decent finish. Service was efficient, no complaints there. Place gets busy around 8, so expect some noise. Fair for what you pay, nothing fancy but solid.

Daily special was solid. Big plate of bacalhau, fair price for what you get. Nothing fancy but the flavors were on point.

The waiter knew exactly what to suggest — the camarão ao alho was spot on. That garlic sauce though, we literally wiped the plate clean with bread. Service felt genuine, not rushed. Only thing is the place gets a bit loud when it fills up, but honestly didn’t care much by then.

We ordered the cabidela and ossobuco, and honestly, the portions were decent for the price. The ambrosia was a nice sweet end. Service was friendly enough, though we waited a bit for the check. I'd say it's fair for what you pay, not a tourist trap, but not a steal either.

Stopped by for a quick bite and the alheira was solid. Prices are fair for what you get. Probably won't rush back, but it did the job. 😊

The chocolate list is solid, and the quindim with port wine ice cream really stood out. Service was friendly, no complaints there.

Been here three times this week already. Pizza crust is properly crispy, not that floppy stuff you get in tourist spots. Had the spaghetti vongole last night - decent amount of clams, good garlic kick. Service is nice but yeah, you might wait a bit if it's packed. Worth it though.

Stopped by for a quick bite and the owner really knows his stuff. He suggested the grilled fish and threw in a small cheese tasting on the house. Nice touch. Place was busy but food came out fast enough. Solid spot if you're in a hurry and want something local.

Seixo was recommended and we're so glad that it was. The food was delicious, wine wonderful, you couldn't beat sitting out with the beautiful views!

The baked camembert with honey and walnuts was the standout — so creamy, the honey gave it this nice sweetness. Bolinhos de bacalhau were solid too, maybe the best I've had. Wine list is decent, lots of port options. Place was a bit cramped but cozy enough. Would go back just for that cheese.

The soup of the day was really good, rich and comforting. I had the roasted chicken too, it was cooked well. Prices are fair for what you get. It's a bit off the main path, so not crowded when I went. Staff were nice enough. Solid spot if you want something simple and fresh.
