The gluten-free cakes here are actually good&mdash;moist, not dry like most places. Nice spot to sit for a while. Service was friendly too.

The lighting in there is just right&mdash;soft, warm, not that harsh glare you get in so many places. We did the tasting menu and honestly, the food was spot on. Our waiter even mixed something custom for me when I couldn&#39;t decide. Felt really looked after. Only tiny thing, pacing was a bit slow between courses, but I didn&#39;t mind much.

The homemade cakes were a real highlight, and that cheese salad with fresh bread hit the spot. Sitting outside, just listening to the cowbells while sipping a decent glass of white wine&mdash;pretty idyllic. Service was a bit slow, but honestly, I was in no rush. A nice little stop to recharge before heading back to the car.

Stopped by for a beer after work. Selection&#39;s small but fine, nothing fancy. Bartender was friendly and quick. They&#39;ve got a separate smoking room which is nice if you&#39;re into that. Place is a bit awkwardly laid out though. Decent enough for what it is.
