Solid carvery for a quick lunch. The roast beef was spot on today, still juicy and hot. Good selection of veg and gravy. Got in and out in under 30 mins. Just what you need.

The prawn special was delicious, but it was seriously spicy! Onion bhajis were huge and full of flavour. Good portion sizes for the price.

The owner is so chill, made our girls' night feel really special.

The mixed meat dish with lamb and pork was the highlight. The lamb was incredibly tender, falling apart easily, and the pork had a nice, subtle smokiness to it. The vegetables were fresh and plentiful, but honestly, the meat was the star. Just a really solid, flavourful plate.

Lovely old pub, feels like stepping back in time. Had the fish and chips - the batter was light and crispy, the chips were proper chunky. A solid pint to go with it. Just what I needed after a long walk.

Nice pub near the station. The Guinness is top-notch, and they've got some tasty veggie options on the menu too.

The Sunday roast is a proper treat. The potatoes were so good - really fluffy inside with that perfect crisp outside. The gravy was full of flavour too. A nice, hearty portion.

I had an amazing meal with fantastic service. The onion bhaji was one of the best I've ever had, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I can't wait to return!

Fantastic food and great service. Highly recommend a visit. Can't believe how good it was. Can't fault them at all. Top marks all around.

Love that they're dog-friendly! The staff were so nice to our pup, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Perfect for traveling with a pet, makes everything so much easier.

Busy Saturday lunch with the kids. Service was prompt and friendly, which helped a lot. The chicken wings were a hit with them. Portions are generous, good value for the price.

Been coming here weekly for years. The food's always cooked fresh to order, never a letdown. The lamb chops last night were spot on. Just a solid, reliable spot.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. They really made me feel at home as a visitor to the area. A lovely first impression.

Lovely country pub with a great selection of food and drink. You can seat inside or outside so this is good too. It would be good if the parking area would be bigger as we struggled to find a space. I would also wish that in the bathroom would be some nice fragrance.

We brother and sister enjoyed a lovely evening nice atmosphere the meals were superb Cullum are waiter was absolutely fantastic always looking after us, making sure everything was ok for us Cullum is a lovely guy. All 3 courses were beautifully cooked and the presentation of the meals were just fantastic. Thank you all so much cannot wait to come again.

The staff were so thoughtful, bringing colouring books to keep the kids busy. Made a big difference for our table.

Stumbled upon this place. Staff were really friendly and the food was good. Nice spot for a quick bite.

Been coming here for years with the family. They always handle our gatherings just right - last time they even sorted the birthday cake for us without any fuss. That's why we keep coming back.

Great spot for a quick bite. The food is fantastic, cocktails are solid. Our server Raff was really on it - super friendly and efficient. Made the whole lunch break feel smooth and easy.

Been coming here for years, and the pizza oven in the corner never gets old.

Loved the tucked-away courtyard vibe. The chargrilled turmeric fish was tasty, but the real star was the lemongrass chicken – the portion was huge! Service was nice, decor felt tasteful. A good find.

Nice local. The vegan options are a real plus - had the jackfruit burger last night and it was spot on. Staff are always friendly, quiz night's a laugh. Food's generally reliable, just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

Pawan was really attentive, checked in at the right moments without being overbearing. The service felt genuinely warm.

As a regular, I really appreciate the loyalty app discounts. It's a nice little perk that makes coming back feel worthwhile. The points add up quickly too.

Been coming here for years. The two-person platter is always massive, we never finish it. Always end up with a doggy bag. Portions haven't changed, which I appreciate.

The burger was spot on, and their house red was a surprisingly good match. The onion rings were a bit greasy, though.
