Nice local pub, good vibe. Jess at the bar was lovely and quick with service, really made a difference. My pint was spot on, and the place had a nice hum to it.

Typical hearty carvery meal, but - for some reason - slightly cheaper food (and beer) than other Toby restaurants in the area on Sundays (normally the most expensive and busiest day of the week).

The staff here are lovely. They were so attentive, even helped us pick a wine that went perfectly with our meal. Really made the evening feel relaxed and taken care of.

Been here a few times on a quiet afternoon. It's a good spot to just sit and relax, not too busy. Service is quick, which I like. The vibe is pretty chilled out.

Cozy spot, perfect for a quiet read or a chat. The playlist is chilled, and the armchairs are comfy. They have a decent wine list, but the by-the-glass options felt a bit limited for the setting. Still, a nice place to unwind.

The kitchen is spotlessly clean, you can see right in from the dining area. It's a nice, bright space that just feels reassuring. Staff were pleasant too.

Been coming here for years, and the full English is always spot on. Fresh, simple, and never greasy. It's the one thing I know I can count on.

Popped in for breakfast. The full English was spot on, eggs and bacon cooked just right. My daughter's pancakes with bacon were a hit. Service was quick and friendly. Coffee was decent.

The almond butter & jam brownie is fantastic. Really appreciate the clear gluten-free labeling, makes ordering easy.

The staff were so friendly and patient. Jake and Nathan made us feel really looked after, which was lovely. It’s the kind of service that makes a meal feel relaxed and easy.

Great for a quick lunch. Found a solid gluten-free burger here, got it to go. Came together fast, no fuss. Hit the spot when you're in a rush.

The staff were so kind when we arrived drenched from a rainy bike ride. They offered us blankets and hot tea without us even asking. That kind of thoughtful hospitality is really nice to see.

The Lord of the Grill sharing board is massive, enough for three easily. The lamb chops were the highlight, perfectly charred and juicy. Ended up with a full takeaway box.

Popped in for breakfast again. The eggs benedict were spot on, hollandaise was just right. Service was quick and friendly as always. A bit pricier than some spots, but you get what you pay for.

Solid all-day breakfast, well presented. Staff were attentive without being overbearing. Good spot for a business meeting near the station. Coffee was a bit slow to arrive, but overall a reliable option.

Late lunch, and the manager was so kind. The wine list had some nice local options that paired well with our food. A really pleasant spot.

The poached eggs were cooked just right, with a lovely runny yolk. You can tell they use really fresh eggs. The place has a fun vibe with comic art on the walls, but I was mostly focused on the quality of the ingredients.

The burgers here are a real standout. Looked even better than the menu photos, and the flavour absolutely delivered. Juicy patty, great bun, everything just worked.

The staff here are really nice and attentive. Aimee and Caroline were especially pleasant to chat with.

Cosy little spot, perfect for a relaxed brunch. The staff were really friendly which added to the nice, welcoming vibe. Had a good coffee and just enjoyed the atmosphere for a bit.

Nice spot for a quick coffee with the dog. Log burner keeps it cosy. Small car park is a bit tight, but manageable. Service was efficient.

Been coming here for years. The service is always friendly and quick, which is just what you want when you're after a quiet pint. They really get the little things right, like making sure your glass is never empty for too long. A very comfortable place to unwind.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. It's a clean, old-school spot with comfy booths and loads of space. The staff were really friendly, which was nice. Got the classic burger, solid.

Popped in for breakfast. The full English was spot on, bacon crispy, beans not too sweet. Good portion for the price. Staff were nice. Cosy little spot.

Popped in for a quick bite. The vegan burger was solid, really hit the spot. Staff were super chill with our little one running around, which was a relief. Nice, relaxed spot.

Vegan breakfast was solid. Hot coffee hit the spot. Staff were quick and helpful, got my order out fast. Perfect for a quick lunch break.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of their chocolate tart. The espresso was a bit too dark for my taste, but it worked surprisingly well with the rich, sweet dessert. Nice little spot to unwind.

The smoked salmon Benedict rosti was the highlight. The salmon was perfectly smoked, not too salty, and the rosti had a great crisp. The hollandaise was rich but balanced. That kind of flavour combination is hard to find.
