Been coming here for years when I'm in town. That lasagne is the reason. The pasta sheets are perfectly tender, and the meat sauce has this rich, slow-cooked depth. The béchamel on top is just golden and creamy. It's the one I compare all others to.

The Mad Hatter theme is so well done. Spent ages just looking at all the little details in the decor, it's really creative. A fun place to be.

Nice local spot. The view is great, but the portion sizes could be a bit more generous for the price.

Been coming here for years and the omelette is always spot on. Just the right amount of fluffy, never greasy. That's why I keep coming back.

Jacob and Natalie were so nice to our big group. Jacob at the bar remembered what we liked to drink, and Natalie checked on us without being pushy. Just felt really looked after.

Stopped in for a cuppa and a slice of cake during a walk along the front. Simple, clean spot. The cake was fresh and the tea hit the spot. Just what you need.

The corned beef pie was so good! The pastry was perfect, really flaky. My flat white was nice too. Just wish the side salad had a bit more going on, it was pretty plain. Still, a solid spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

A nice little spot inside the museum. The food was pretty good, and the service was decent. We got the scones to go, which was a nice touch. A solid choice for a light bite.

Portions are huge here, which is a big plus for me. Ordered the grilled chicken platter and could barely finish it. Quality of the meat was solid, no complaints. You definitely get what you pay for.

Love the community vibe here. They run these socials and clubs, really makes it feel like a place where you can just connect with people. Found a bit of understanding, which was nice.

The bacon was perfectly crispy and the pancakes were incredibly fluffy. It's a very filling meal.

Been coming here for my morning coffee since day one. The latte is always spot on, and they have a decent selection of teas too.

Maddie was so on it with the refills at bottomless brunch. My mimosa never got close to empty, which is the whole point really. She was just really lovely and made the whole thing feel easy.

Been back two nights in a row for the half lot with peas. The fish fritters are a real winner. The place itself is just right for a casual solo dinner, nothing too fancy.

Been coming here for years, and the pea and ham soup with a cheese scone is my go-to. It’s always exactly the same—warm, hearty, and just right for a quick bite. That kind of consistency is why I keep coming back.

I love the vanilla and lemon sorbet swirl here. It's a really refreshing combo, not too sweet. The seating was a bit tight, but the staff were so friendly and helpful. A lovely, simple treat.

Stopped in for a coffee and a pastry. The place just has a nice, cozy vibe, feels like a proper local spot. Staff were friendly, no rush. Good for a quiet moment.

Been coming here for years, and their gluten-free cakes are the reason. They always take the time to double-check the ingredients for me. It’s that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Really appreciate how clearly the veggie and gluten-free options are marked on the menu. Their veggie breakfast is a standout.

The lime and courgette cake was a real surprise, so moist and not too sweet. Had it with a flat white, perfect combo. The raspberry brownie didn't last long either!

Nice spot for a Cruzcampo. The outdoor seating is clean and the lights are cool.

The Reuben Sarnie was spot on, and they have a really good selection of craft beers to go with it. Staff are lovely as always.

The host really creates a supportive vibe for the open mic. A nice, welcoming touch to the evening.

Ordered 18 afternoon teas for a wedding break. They looked gorgeous and tasted even better. Really impressed with how well they handled gluten-free and dairy-free requests. Quality was a nice surprise.

Owner was so lovely. They were about to close up but still made us hot drinks and gave us a huge slice of cake to take away. Really nice of them.

Stumbled upon this spot in Low Fell. Love the bright, airy feel inside — perfect for a quiet coffee. The food was tasty and didn't break the bank. A nice little find.

The wagyu sharing board is the reason I keep coming back. The meat was so tender it practically melted, and the portion was generous for the price. A solid choice if you're focused on the food.
