The beef rendang was the star. Slow-cooked for hours, the meat just fell apart. Rich coconut and spice paste had soaked right through. Could have used a bit more heat for my taste, but the depth of flavour was spot on. That's what I came for.

Nice local spot. The view is great, but the portion sizes could be a bit more generous for the price.

Grabbed the chicken shawarma wrap for a quick lunch with a mate. Seriously generous portion, the bread was still warm! Perfect for when you're chatting and don't want a fussy meal. Got it in like 8 minutes.

Jacob and Natalie were so nice to our big group. Jacob at the bar remembered what we liked to drink, and Natalie checked on us without being pushy. Just felt really looked after.

Stopped in for a cuppa and a slice of cake during a walk along the front. Simple, clean spot. The cake was fresh and the tea hit the spot. Just what you need.

Stopped by for a classic fish and chips fix. They do a vegan version with banana blossom, which was a nice surprise. You can even pick your cooking oil. The banana blossom was crispy, tasted pretty good.

First time trying their vegan options. The Tom Kha Kai with mushrooms was a lovely surprise, not even on the menu!

The steak and wine deal is such a good shout for a catch-up! The steak was cooked just right, and the house red was actually decent. Perfect for a chilled evening with mates without breaking the bank. 😊

Been coming here for years, and the pizza's still the best around. Perfect for grabbing a slice with mates.

Love the community vibe here. They run these socials and clubs, really makes it feel like a place where you can just connect with people. Found a bit of understanding, which was nice.

The homemade chips were spot on, crispy outside and fluffy inside. The garlic aioli they came with was a real highlight, creamy with a nice garlic kick. Pizza base was fresh and had that proper stone-baked char. Solid meal.

Firecracker prawns and yasai katsu curry are consistently good. The new corn side was decent, if a little messy to eat.

Tried the fish and chips here for the first time. The portion was huge for the price, especially with the mushy peas. Really hit the spot.

A nice spot. The staff were friendly and helpful with our buggy. The in-house iced tea was really good, and the crispy pork belly was particularly tasty. Everything tasted fresh. The noodle soup was a bit on the salty side for me, but still fine.

Maddie was so on it with the refills at bottomless brunch. My mimosa never got close to empty, which is the whole point really. She was just really lovely and made the whole thing feel easy.

Nice spot. Clean, stylish. Had the rib eye with peppercorn sauce. That was the thing. Staff were polite.

No reservation but they squeezed us in! The music was just right, lively but not too loud. Would love to see a dessert menu next time.

The desserts are a bit pricey, but they look incredible and taste even better. Perfect for a quick treat when you want something special.

The staff kept our teapots full without us asking, which was nice. They also suggested a few dishes when we couldn't decide.

Great for a group dinner! The chefs put on a fun show, kept everyone laughing. The Hokkaido scallops were so good, we ordered a second round. A bit loud for deep conversation, but perfect for a lively catch-up.

Been here a few times now. The portions are huge, and it’s always just as good as the last visit. Never lets you down when you just want a proper feed.

Stopped in for a quick bite and my car battery gave out right in the lot. A delivery driver for the restaurant spotted me struggling and came over with jumper cables. Really saved the day.

Been coming here for years. The fish and chips are always solid. Crispy batter, fresh fish. The curry sauce is a nice touch, makes it a bit different.

Been back two nights in a row for the half lot with peas. The fish fritters are a real winner. The place itself is just right for a casual solo dinner, nothing too fancy.

Loved the fish here! The batter is so thin and crisp, and the portion was huge. Nice harbour view too.

Lunch set is £9 for two courses and a drink. Service was quick and polite. Good value for a business lunch in the area.

Service was really attentive, they noticed our water glasses were low without us having to ask. Food came out at a nice pace, not rushed at all. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Just a solid, well-run evening.

Nice spot for a Cruzcampo. The outdoor seating is clean and the lights are cool.
