The Welsh cakes were lovely, fresh and warm. I tried all three flavours, and they were all really nice. The staff were very friendly too. It's just a shame the seating is a bit limited, but it's a cosy spot.

Good local pub. Plenty of pool tables and the sports are always on. Dot poured me a cracking pint, one of the best I've had in ages. Just a solid, reliable spot for a quiet pint after work.

Tried their Mexican night buffet. The spread was solid, tacos were fresh, and they kept things moving. Got a bit crowded later, but a decent change of pace.

Stumbled in late after an event. The English pub vibe with a Chinese twist was spot on. Staff were so kind, letting us stay past closing. The house red was a surprisingly good match for the late-night comfort food. They even checked we got off safely.

Found the pizza van in Somerton last month. The pepperoni pizza is huge, easily feeds two. For £12, you get a proper meal, not just a snack. Been back three times already.

Great gluten-free cakes, especially the chocolate one. The lunch menu has a good selection too.

The coffee is really good here, fresh and flavourful. Pastries looked nice too, had a tough time picking just one. A decent spot for a quiet morning. The WiFi is a plus, though it did drop out once.

The hanging kebabs are a fun sharing dish! Perfect for a group. The chocolate flower pot was a cute end to the meal.

I had a wonderful experience at The George, where the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly. The quiet atmosphere made it a perfect place to unwind after a long day.

The three-course deal with a drink is such good value. The food was lovely, and for the price? Couldn't believe it. Just a really nice, relaxed evening.

Lovely spot, especially those window seats. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the focus on fresh ingredients in their salads. The greens tasted incredibly crisp and vibrant. A nice, healthy lunch option.

The seasonal menu keeps things fresh, and the ingredients are top-notch. A nice glass of white wine really complements the flavours.

Food's always spot on. Quick and tasty lunch. Fang and Andre are super friendly, makes the whole thing easy. Good spot for a quick bite.

The croissant with ham and cheese was spot on. Good spot for a bite with a view of the market upstairs.

Been coming here for years, and the BYOB policy is a big reason why. No corkage fee, and they've always got glasses ready for you. Makes a casual dinner out feel that much more relaxed.

The fresh ingredients in their salads really stood out. A bit pricey for a regular lunch spot, but the quality is there.

Been coming here for years. The traditional Greek music in the background is always just right - not too loud, sets a relaxed vibe every single time. It's why I keep coming back.

As a vegetarian, the plant-based steak was a solid choice. Really enjoyed the texture and flavour.

The steak and ale pie was the star for me. The meat inside was so tender it just fell apart. Big portions, came out quick too. Solid choice for a proper pub meal.

The afternoon tea was lovely. I really appreciated that they were happy to swap out some of the sandwiches for fresher, lighter options.

The staff were so lovely and attentive. I had a question about the ingredients in the salad dressing, and they checked with the kitchen right away. Really appreciated how they handled it.

Nice to see a solid selection of vegan options on the menu. We asked for a custom pizza, no cheese, extra veggies, and they sorted it out without any fuss. Tasted fresh and the crust had a good chew to it.

The vegan breakfast menu is huge, lots of choice. I tried the meat substitute option and it was really good.

Vibrant spot, but it does get packed. We were tucked in a corner table, which was fine, but the energy from the main room was a bit much for a quiet chat. The buzz is fun if you're up for it.

Been working my way through the menu here. The grilled octopus starter is a standout. Paired it with a crisp Albariño from their list, which cut through the richness perfectly. The vibe is cosy, just right for a relaxed dinner.
