The service at Ivy Asia was top-notch, with our server Rhys being particularly friendly and attentive. His recommendations made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

The mezze platter was a lovely start. I really appreciated how the staff handled my gluten-free request without any fuss. It made for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

Nice spot for a quiet chat. The seating is comfortable and the vibe is pretty relaxed. It's not too loud, which is a plus these days. A decent place for a low-key meal.

The Sunday roast is as good as they say. The beef and pork belly were spot on, with plenty of veg. Connor was a top lad.

We finally dined in after years of takeaways. The food was beautiful, as always. What stood out was the staff's wine suggestion – a lovely, friendly touch that made the evening. Well-priced too.

I really appreciate that they offer a crispy bacon swap for the Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise was light, and the eggs were perfectly poached. The pancake batter also tasted freshly made, not from a mix. A nice spot for a mindful breakfast.

The chicken curry and chips were lovely. The seating was a bit cramped, but the curry sauce had a really nice, mild flavour.

The food presentation is stunning. Their wine list had some interesting pairings to complement the colourful dishes.

First time trying their set menu and I'm impressed! So many options for each course, the lamb was cooked just right. Great for a group booking, everything ran smoothly.

Love that it still feels like a proper pub. The atmosphere is spot on - welcoming and classic, not too casual. Perfect for a full meal or just a pint and a snack.

No booking on a Friday, but they found us a table. The lamb curry was the real deal – rich, tender, and a huge portion. My plate was still warm when I finished. Solid spot.

First time in, and the food was just as good as everyone says. The service was really on point too. Just a heads up, they prefer cash.

Hannah's service was efficient and friendly. The fajitas were good, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The Brewhouse Bird sharing box is decent for a group. Good amount of food for the price. Service was a bit slow on a busy Friday night, but they handled it.

Victoria was super attentive even though the place was packed on Valentine's. My pasta came out quicker than expected and was really tasty. Good vibe.

The brisket melt sandwich was spot on, just like you'd get in a proper American diner. Great for sharing with friends, the portions are massive!

Great spot in Cardiff Bay. Staff were really on it and found us a table even though we hadn't booked. The wine list had some nice local options too.

The food is always spot on. We're here every month. The wine list has a nice little selection that pairs well with the menu.

The staff here are always friendly and attentive. Quick to refill drinks and check on orders. Makes the after-work pint very efficient.

The portions are huge, honestly. You get a proper plateful for the money. Staff are friendly, they remember you. It's just a nice, reliable spot.

The spot at the end of the pier is lovely, really peaceful. Had a decent lunch here with a pretty good view of the sea. The fish and chips were fine, though the chips were a little soft for my liking.

Great spot near the cricket ground. The cask ales are spot on, and the table service is a nice touch even if you're just drinking. Friendly staff who know their beers. The cricket stuff on the walls is interesting to check out.

Stayed a few nights for work. The room was snug and comfortable, nice bedding. Breakfast was good, plenty of parking. The house red by the glass was surprisingly decent, a proper start to the day.

The staff were just so lovely. They noticed my water was low before I did, and checked in without being overbearing. That kind of attentive service is a real treat. Made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy.

Lovely vibe, but Ben the host really stood out. He was so attentive without being overbearing. Noticed we were done with our starters and had the mains timed perfectly. That kind of service makes all the difference.

The New Mill is a really well designed and spacious restaurant, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. They have a good menu and the food is excellent. A very enjoyable and comfortable experience. I have eaten there many times and the different people I have taken there share the same opinion.

Great beer garden out the back, really comes into its own on a sunny afternoon. Solid choice of local ales. Staff are a friendly bunch, which makes a difference. A proper local.

Lovely little family-run place. The set menu is good value and everything was presented so nicely. What I really appreciated was the host walking us to the door when we left – a very kind gesture.
