He’s a credit to the restaurant. Very attentive with a lovely manner , made the afternoon lovely. TheForkUserWe arrived a few minutes early but it wasn’t a problem, our table was ready for us. We got our drinks promptly and ordered from the two course lunch menu. The food was excellent freshly cooked and we didn’t have to wait long. Pudding was syrup sponge and I had it with ice cream, usually this is served on the plate and melts next to the hot sponge. The Harvester serves it in a metal bucket, so it stays cold. Our server was friendly and made suggestions on our food choices, we will definitely return.

TheForkUserBeen to several places recently for lunch,non have been particularly good ,had a carvery last week in Ellesmere Port. I don't know how they had the nerve to serve it. I had been to the Toby Inn many years ago,and it was always excellent,so suggested we try it this week . It was absolutely marvellous. Could not fault it at all. We will be back next week for certain.Would definitely recommend to anyone.Excellent food,good service, sensibly priced.

Portions were generous, desserts excellent and staff excellent. A few tweaks and the star rating would be higher.
