We've been coming here for years, and the mussels are still the reason. Had the classic pot again last week, same great flavor as always. Faiza took care of us, she remembered what we usually order. Place gets busy, but they never rush you out. Just a solid spot that doesn't mess with a good thing.

The pasta special changes daily, which I like. Tried the tiramisu too—not too sweet, nice coffee flavor. Good spot for something casual.

Truffle pasta was solid. Rich, creamy, exactly what I needed after walking around. Beer list had some good local picks too. Service was chill, not hovering. Sat outside watching the square, no rush at all. Price was okay for what you get. Wouldn't mind coming back.

Decent little place, cozy vibe. We had the seasonal menu and everything tasted fresh. Presentation was nice too. Just a bit pricey for what you get, but pretty good overall.

Got the Bib Gourmand spot and honestly, the pâté de campagne alone is worth the trip. Portion was decent for the price, not one of those tiny fancy plates. Salad périgord was fresh too. Staff were nice, even heard someone humming along to ABBA in the back. Solid pick if you're in the area and don't want to blow your budget.

Food was tasty and portions were fair for the price. Got a bit busy though. Just remember you pay at the cashier if using card.

Crepes were solid and the coffee hit the spot, right near Grand Place. Just wish I'd known it's cash-only before ordering — had to run to an ATM. Gets busy fast too.

Dropped in for a quick lunch. Food came out fast, looked good on the plate, and tasted even better. No complaints there. Wine list though? Pretty weak. Not a huge deal for a lunch spot, but if you're after something decent to sip, you're out of luck. Stick to the food and you'll be happy.

Very good cuisine with some really nice original preparations. The quantities are generous. The first few plates came quite quickly one after the other. Then we had to wait a bit more for the main course and the desert, which was alright so we don't rush too much. The wine assortiment was also great. The staff was very friendly BUT we found it was a bit too present. We felt even a bit oppressed. It was like we couldn't have 5min of break to enjoy our moment together (my partner and I). They were very frequently asking if everything was okay.Overall, we spent a nice evening there.

Amazing restaurant in a historic building in the Anderlecht district of Brussels. You are seated in the beautiful and calm dining room and have a choice of two versions of the tasting menu. I went for the full menu, and every single food item (more than 15 in total arrived at my table) were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and made from the finest ingredients. I would give the food 6 stars if I could. The lemon with caviar and langoustine was particularly delicious. Also, the service is fantastic. I had the pleasure of having Fabio take care of my table and he was extremely attentive, very friendly and professional. He is very knowledgeable about the food, the wine and also about the history of the restaurant and the background of the chef and his wife who runs the dining room so smoothly. They all go out of their way to ensure guests have an excellent experience. This was my first visit to La Paix, but I can, without hesitation, give it my very best recommendation.

Grilled Iberico pork was spot on. Juicy, good char, not overdone. The Spanish ham too — thin sliced, melts in your mouth. Staff knew their wine list, picked something that actually worked with the meat. Place was busy but I got my food quick enough. Solid spot for a proper lunch without wasting half the afternoon.

Top place - admittedly maybe not 2 star Michelin fireworks (we ordered a la carte)- but the very nice terrace and some mind blowing first courses made it an extremely nice evening .

The Mechelen asparagus was the standout — really well done. Nice welcome when we walked in too. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, my back felt it after a while.

Croissants were properly flaky, butter came through well. Probably the best I've had around here. Pain au chocolat held up too. It's a small place, so don't expect to sit long. Fine if you're passing through and need a solid pastry fix.

Delicious food, great value for money with the Fork. Peaceful atmosphere (we ate very early in the evening) and very attentive and friendly service.

The concept is fun and the food mostly hits the mark. We went on a quiet afternoon and the pace dragged a bit. Probably better to go when it's busier. Decent spot overall, I'd come back if I'm in the area.

Despite some dishes lacking flavor, the service was outstanding and made the visit enjoyable. The outside seating area has a relaxing vibe, making it a great spot for a cozy meal.

Restaurant in Stanhope Hotel Brussels by Thon Hotels

Stopped by for a quick dinner and honestly the steak frites was solid. Classic brasserie vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Prices are a bit steep for the portion size though. Still, the quality holds up and it’s super easy to get to. Would come back if I’m in the area and craving something reliable.

Really fine dining, high level dishes, and very good service. Creative combinations, beautifully served. Highly recommended. Modern setting in a average looking street, only the inside is what counts!

The chef clearly knows what they're doing, but nothing really stuck with me after. The room was lovely though, that soft lighting made it feel calm. Just wish the food had that same kind of spark.

The ribeye was cooked exactly how I asked. Juicy inside, decent crust on the outside. Portion was generous for the price. Didn't care that the table was cramped, the meat did the talking. Would grab it again if I'm in the area.

We booked ahead after a failed walk-in earlier, so that worked out fine. The grilled quail was nicely done, tender and flavourful. Dauphinoise potato was the highlight for me, really creamy. Service was fine, nothing more. Place was busy, so I get it. Just wish the tables weren't so close together, felt a bit cramped. Still, a decent dinner overall.

Went on Monday for the lobster menu at 48 EUR — honestly such a good deal. The food was solid, but the staff really made it fun, they kept joking around with us the whole time. Perfect spot for a chill catch-up with friends. Just a heads up, it gets busy so don’t expect a super quiet dinner 😄

Nice terrace right on the Dijle next to the old brewery. Had a decent glass of red with my main, worked well enough. Service friendly but slow, typical Belgian pace. Under €40 for main, dessert, and a drink felt fair.

Took some friends here who were visiting Brussels and honestly it was such a vibe. The coucou de Malines was super tasty, really rich flavor. Desserts hit the spot too. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us at all which I appreciated. Only thing is it's a bit pricey but for a nice night out with guests it's fine. Would come back for sure. 😊

Solid Italian spot on Zimmerplein—nice view of the Zimmertower from upstairs. Got seated right away on a busy Friday, no reservation needed. Their house red did the job with the pasta.

The fish was fresh, no complaints there. They’ve got a few veggie options too, which I appreciated. Japanese beer selection is decent, nothing crazy but enough to find something you like. Place itself felt a bit cramped though, tables are close together. Fine for a quick meal, just don’t expect to linger too long.

The food really is good here—fresh, well prepared, nothing to complain about on that front. Service was professional too, though it felt a bit formal for my taste. It’s on the pricier side, but the setting is lovely, so you’re paying for that atmosphere. I’d come back for a special occasion, just not a regular spot for me.

Nice house wine and friendly staff. Good enough spot to grab a drink and watch the world go by. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.
