TheForkUserThe atmosphere is cozy with plenty of antique decor. The staff was amazing in helping with selection, along with letting us just relax and enjoy the time. Highly recommend.
TheForkUserThe service was very good and the food was amazing. About the restaurant, there was a strong uncomfortable wind coming from the entrance and the music was somewhat too loud. I would highly recommend it!
TheForkUserLovely cafe in the center of Zandvoort. We had breakfast there and returned the next day, which we normally never do. It is not cheap, but delicious and deliciously presented. Also, the staff is very friendly. We'll certainly come back next time we are in town.
TheForkUserGreat Little restaurant, catered for a table of 7 with very different tastes, We were guided on servings, and well educated on the menu. A true delight and great selection of food.
TheForkUserShared dining is a fun concept. We liked the presentation of the food brought to the table. Staff is young and very friendly. The ambiance is cosy, ideal for intimate dining. Tables far apart enough to have privacy.
TheForkUserGrand Café Restaurant De Dijk, nestled in the charming seaside town of Volendam, offers a dining experience that uniquely captures the essence of its coastal setting. The atmosphere at De Dijk is its standout feature, where the breezy, salty air mixes with a quaint, inviting decor, allowing diners to immerse themselves in the serene vibes of the sea just steps away. While the menu presents a satisfactory selection of dishes that are well-prepared, it somewhat misses the opportunity to fully embrace its maritime locale with a wider variety of seafood options. A few additional dishes celebrating local catches would certainly enhance the culinary experience, aligning it more closely with the restaurant’s prime setting by the water.Service at De Dijk, however, is commendable. Staff members are consistently upbeat and attentive, contributing positively to the overall dining atmosphere. Their friendly demeanor and prompt service ensure a pleasant visit for guests looking to enjoy a meal in this picturesque location.Overall, Grand Café Restaurant De Dijk offers a memorable dining experience mainly through its unique setting by the sea and the warm service provided. A slight rethinking of the menu to include more seafood specialties could potentially elevate the establishment to new heights, perfectly complementing the wonderful atmosphere and service.
TheForkUserA very nice location for a restaurant. The outdoor terrace is a great place to hang out. We chose the chef's menu with 6 courses. Quite an experience of flavors and the very nice layout of the plates. The wines offered completed the dishes. A nice evening with good food and drink, definitely worth a repeat visit. An extension of the hospitality could be offering a second cup of coffee at the house's expense.
TheForkUserRecently opened Indian restaurant, was nice crowd and staf was friendly. Food really good, owner stopping by for nice chat too. We will be back here again!
TheForkUserThe food is great, excellent value for money. The location is amazing, with a lovely sunset view. Antony is so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.
TheForkUserThis was a great little find in Aalsmeer. The staff were welcoming and friendly and both our dishes (lamb tikka masala & chicken tikka were delicious!
TheForkUsernice place, really good service and delicious food. the only thing that could be improved is to add the English version of the menu.
TheForkUserThe staff at this "cheap and cheerful" Italian restaurant are fantastic. After coming for more than 20 years, it has never failed to deliver simple great food in a 'happy' atmosphere where you can laugh, chat, and just basically have fun with family and friends.
TheForkUserThe food is definitely great and music is of good taste but it's cold and windy inside, not that of a cozy environment. Also people mashing buttons of slot machines all the time does not help on that.
TheForkUserAmazing restaurant! We had a 3 course menu. Each dish was super delicious and tasty.Beautiful restaurant. Our waitress, Michelle was extremely helpful and very friendly.I can just recommend to everyone!
TheForkUserVery nice location, friendly staff, short waiting times. Is a pity people smoke in the terraces, but we got a new table and we enjoyed it very much.
TheForkUserWonderful hidden gem located in central Amsterdam. Space is small with limited tables. The small size makes it somewhat congested causes the noise level to be moderately loud; however our party of 4 was able to comfortably hold a conversation over dinner. Nice menu with a wide variety of options. All 4 diners were extremely happy with the quality of the meals. Service was a little slow, though not unreasonably so. If we lived in Amsterdam this restaurant would clearly be in our regular dining out rotation. You should go if in the area seeking good food for a reasonable price in a local establishment.
TheForkUserWe have been coming here since the early 1990s for the outstanding Peking Duck, best outside of Hong Kong (IMHO). Was pleased with the upgrades to the final course. Keep up the good work!
TheForkUserAmazing food! We had pizzas, lasagna and a variety of desserts. All vegetarian items and very tasty!
TheForkUserWe ate at Café Brasserie Meuwese last month and the food was delicious! The fish was just 👌🏼We will definitely go back on our next visit to Amsterdam
