Stopped in for a change and got their hot chocolate. It was made with real dark chocolate, not too sweet. The staff were friendly. A nice little treat on a cold day.

A nice spot for a drink overlooking Downderry. The bar prices are a touch high, but the local vibe is lovely.

Got a dairy allergy. They made a cheeseless pizza no problem. The cheesy chips were the real deal though. Actually cheesy. Solid.

Food was lovely, and the staff were just the sweetest. We were a big group catching up, and they didn't mind us lingering at all. Made the whole evening so easy and relaxed.

First time here. The student staff were really friendly, got our order sorted quickly. Food was solid, especially the pasta. Just a bit loud inside, but no big deal.

The vibe here just hits right. Pool tables buzzing, good tunes, not too loud. Drinks are decently priced, which is a plus. Just a really nice spot to unwind after work.

Friendly service, and the food was tasty. I really liked the veggie and vegan options. But what stood out for me was the atmosphere - it's just a nice, comfortable space to sit and eat.

Love the open kitchen here! It's so cool to watch the chefs work up close. My pasta came out super fast even though the place was packed.

A lovely little gem in Exmouth. The wine list is well-curated, though a bit pricey. Had a fantastic Pinot Noir that paired beautifully with the duck breast. Service was attentive. A great spot for a relaxed dinner with friends.

The eggs Benedict were creamy, eggs poached just right. Hash browns were huge and soaked up all the hollandaise nicely. Food came out quick after we got our drinks. Solid breakfast spot.

A lovely spot for breakfast with my sister. The gentleman at the counter was so friendly. My avocado toast was fresh, and the eggs were perfectly done. A nice, simple start to the day.

Been here a few times now. The staff are always helpful, like when we asked for a table away from the draft. Food is solid, especially the lamb. It’s a good spot when you want something a bit nicer.

Brandon was a real pro. He knew the wine list inside out, suggested a fantastic pairing for my steak that I wouldn't have picked myself. Made a simple dinner feel a bit more considered.

A proper local pub, no frills. The beer is kept well, which is the main thing. Had a decent pint of bitter. It’s a friendly spot for a quiet drink.

This is the jewel in the Wetherspoon’s crown. If you don’t know about Wetherspoon’s pubs, restaurants and hotels, they are budget friendly, no frills establishments many in repurposed banks, shops, high street offices etc. This offering in Exeter is a little different though. The setting, in quite extensive well maintained gardens, is a large old house that used to belong in turn to various professional people. The building has been remodelled and added to over the years. The spectacular cast iron orangery where you can dine from breakfast to dinner time was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the Great Western Railways chief engineer in Victorian times. It was originally part of the main building of Exeter university but was moved here many years ago. Food was up to the usual standard at Wetherspoons and served on the distinctive crockery which was specially designed for the company. My youngest daughter and I ate here several times over a three day trip to view the university. We ate both breakfast and dinner here. I thoroughly recommend having at least a drink or preferably something to eat here if you are in Exeter.☕️ A tip is that your tea, coffee or hot chocolate is bottomless and at the time of writing was only 1.81 GBP per cup.

Came for a group dinner. Ryan and the team were really helpful, made sure we were comfortable. The live music was a nice touch, not too loud. Food was good, no complaints there. A relaxed evening.

Decent spot on the industrial estate. The classic cafe vibe is clean, no fuss. Had the full English breakfast. Portion was generous for the price, honestly couldn't finish it all. Good, solid food.

Steak was decent for the price, and the unlimited chips were a nice bonus. 👍

As a coeliac, I'm always a bit wary. But they had a decent GF menu. Got the pizza, it was actually good. Everything clearly labelled with allergen stickers, which helps a lot.

The owners and staff were so lovely and welcoming. The food was simple and tasty, just like the menu said.

Grabbed a takeaway pizza and chips. Asked for half-and-half on the pizza, no problem at all. Chips were spot on - golden and not greasy. Pizza was decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Quick and easy.

Been to a few Indian spots in Exeter, this one gets the flavor right. The chicken tikka masala had a proper depth of spice, not just heat. Service was quick and attentive. Place is clean, well-kept. Solid option for a reliable meal.

The staff were so cheerful and attentive, which made the whole evening really pleasant. Even when it was busy, service was efficient. My only small note is that the chairs could be a bit more comfortable for a longer meal.

The food is cooked to order, which is nice. But for the price, the portions are a bit on the small side. It's okay for a quick bite in the Barbican, but I left still feeling a bit peckish.

Service was attentive, they kept our water glasses full and checked if we wanted more chips. Didn't have to look for anyone.

Booked ahead and got a table by the window. The view of the harbour was lovely, really made the evening. Service was friendly and attentive, which I always appreciate. The seat was comfortable too, no rushing you out. A very pleasant spot for a relaxed meal.

Been coming here for weekend lunches lately. The crispy squid (Ike Age) is spot on every time - super fresh, perfectly crisp. It's a nice, relaxed spot to unwind. Staff are always friendly.

Dan was so helpful! The pizza was spot on and ordering was a breeze. Perfect for a casual catch-up with mates.
