Popped in for a lazy breakfast with my mates. The full English was spot on, and the staff were so chill and friendly. It’s got that perfect vibe for a long, chatty catch-up. Definitely coming back to try their Sunday roast!

The cocktails were the real star for me. I tried their signature 'Smoky Negroni' and the balance was spot on - not too bitter, with a really nice herbal finish. Great vibe for a Friday night with mates. 🍸

Been coming here for years. It's a proper old pub, not one of those fancy tourist spots. Low ceilings, dark wood, feels like it's been here forever. Just off the main drag so it's a bit quieter.

The owner and his wife are lovely. They remembered us from a previous visit and took the time to chat. It's that personal touch you don't get everywhere. The service is genuinely warm and attentive, which made for a very pleasant evening.

Great spot in the Barbican. The atmosphere is perfect for a group dinner, and their wine list had a few interesting local options to explore.

Cosy spot. The smoothies were spot on, and they paired nicely with the lunch we had. Good value.

Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding was solid, generous portions. The vegan nut roast is a decent option too. Service was efficient, got us in and out for a business lunch.

The food is pretty good, with nice spices and balanced flavours. You can tell they care about the cooking.

The garlic dip here is fantastic, really elevates their pizza. Had a glass of house red with it, a simple but spot-on pairing. The base could be a touch crispier for my taste, but that sauce keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years, and their fish and chips never disappoint. The fish is always crispy, chips are proper. Sometimes they'll throw in a little extra, like a free side of mushy peas. Good, solid local chippy.

The festive platter was lovely for sharing. The main courses were a bit hit or miss, but the portions are satisfying.

I popped in for a light lunch and was really impressed by the freshness of the salad ingredients. The greens were crisp, and the chicken tasted properly grilled, not just reheated. The table service app made ordering easy, and it arrived quickly even when the bar area got a bit crowded. A solid choice for a simple, fresh meal.

The Sunday roast was pretty good, and the pate starter was a nice addition. Decent spot for watching the harbour.

The retro decor here is really charming. I love the old-school posters and the cozy booths. It's a nice spot to just sit and relax for a while.

Been coming here for years, the peppered steak pasty is my go-to. Flaky crust, proper filling. They do a good range of fresh bakes as well.

Came for a quiet dinner, the place has a nice relaxed vibe. The staff were spot on - friendly but not hovering. My only quibble was the wine list, felt a bit limited for the style of food. Found a decent red though.

Been coming here for years. The staff always makes you feel welcome, even when they're slammed. Walked in on a busy Friday, still got a smile and a quick table. That's why I keep coming back.

The Wolf burger with pulled duck is a solid choice. Patty was juicy, duck portion generous and flavourful. Sweet potato fries and slaw were good too. A bit pricey for a burger, but you get what you pay for.

Been coming here for years. Their enchiladas are the reason I keep coming back - always just as good as the first time. The sauce is spot on.

Larisa, our server, was so thoughtful. She double-checked with the kitchen about my peanut allergy and explained their procedures clearly. It felt very safe. The kitchen was careful, and my meal came out with a separate note confirming it was allergen-free. That attention to detail meant a lot.

Loved the view from the room, just a perfect sea vista to wake up to. The full English breakfast was solid, but honestly, that veggie option was the real star. So good.

The seafood was top-notch, especially the grilled sea bass. Service was efficient, staff were attentive without hovering. The view over the estuary is a real plus. A bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for the location and quality.

Came for a casual pint, ended up staying for the view. Sat on the pontoon with a cold one, just watching the boats. The crab pots were busy, looked fun. Bit windy though.

The lamb shank was so tender and the spices were spot on. A really solid spot for a relaxed dinner with friends.

Ordered takeaway for a group, and I really appreciated how the staff handled our dietary questions. They knew the ingredients well. The food arrived still hot, and everything tasted fresh.

The sandwich wasn't quite right, but honestly, the staff were lovely about it. So apologetic, and they even brought us some ice cream on the house. Made our little catch-up feel really taken care of.

The steak and kidney pasty was solid. Big chunks of meat, felt like a proper homemade one. Just what I needed on a damp afternoon.

A proper cosy pub, this. The owner's a friendly chap - he was happy for us to bring in pasties from the bakery down the road. Sat outside with a pint and a pasty, just what you need.
