Bit of a trek down some narrow lanes to get here, but the quiet spot and the view are exactly why you'd come. Parking was fine, plenty of space.

Friendly staff made us feel right at home. Our group of six, all with different tastes, found something to enjoy on the menu. My lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender.

The Mexican burger here has a good kick to it. The patty was juicy and the spice level was just right, not overpowering. That's what I came for. Portions are decent.

Really appreciated the attention to dietary needs here. The server knew exactly which dishes could be made gluten-free and walked me through the menu. Ended up trying the pasta, which was a solid choice.

Staff were so kind. Gave us a blanket for the sleeping baby. Sunday lunch was spot on. That Yorkshire pudding and the crackling? Just right.

Service was spot on. Quick, friendly, and the waiter had a bit of cheeky banter that made us laugh. Felt relaxed the whole time.

The vegan fish and chips is a really nice dish. The banana blossom is a clever idea, and the booth seating was comfy.

Nice spot on the seafront. They had a local lobster special one day, but it was sold out by the time we got there.

Stayed a night, very comfortable. Clean room, great shower, bed was perfect. The included breakfast was excellent, and they had a decent selection of local craft beers to go with it, which was a nice touch.

Stumbled upon this spot wandering around Totnes. The brie and bacon sandwich hit the spot, but the real star was the broccoli and Stilton soup – rich and creamy. Paired it with a glass of their house red, which cut through the richness nicely. Friendly service too.

Solid spot for a quick drink. Their amaretto sour was spot on, really well made. Good selection overall, got my order fast. Perfect for when you just need a quick bite and a decent cocktail.

Nice spot by the water. The oysters were fresh. Staff were sound, helped us pack up the shells to take home. Decent lunch.

The pork chop with mustard sauce was spot on. Great flavour and texture, just the right portion too.

Cozy spot with only a dozen seats. Service was attentive, which was good as we needed quick service before a meeting.

The brownies are so good, I had to get a box to take home. The staff were really friendly and helpful when I was picking out flavours. It's a lovely little spot for a treat.

Nick the owner is so lovely, really makes you feel at home. The food is fresh and you can tell it's made with care. Perfect spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

The fish and chips were decent. The batter was crisp, chips were thick cut. A bit heavy on the salt for my taste, but the fish itself was fresh. Good portion size.

The fish was cooked fresh, batter was light and crisp. Chips were golden and fluffy. Mushy peas were a nice touch. That’s pretty much it.

Stopped by with my family, four of us. Every small plate was a hit. Really liked the presentation. Hard to pick a favourite.

The view over the water is just lovely. Sat by the window with a glass of wine for ages, it was so relaxing. A nice spot to unwind.

Nice spot by the market square. Came for a late lunch and sat outside. Ordered the fish and chips. Portion was decent for the price, the chips were proper chunky. Could've used another piece of fish though.

The spice level was just right for me, and the flavours felt so authentic. A really nice touch that you can adjust it to your own taste.

The wine list was a real treat. Our table was tucked away near the stairs, which felt a bit like a corridor. Still, the food was lovely.

Stumbled upon this cafe just off the high street. The coffee and homemade cakes are very reasonably priced. Soup and coffee were served properly hot, which I appreciate. Good spot for a quick, no-fuss lunch.

Booked for a Sunday lunch with friends. The food came out piping hot, which was perfect for our chilled catch-up. Staff were really on it with refills too.

A solid, straightforward meal for five at £30. The staff were polite, and the little chocolate for my daughter was a nice touch. Their house red was a pleasant surprise with the mains.

The open fire makes this place so cosy on a chilly evening. The fish and chips were spot on – the batter was perfectly crispy.

Great find on holiday. Owners were super helpful, even called a taxi for us.

Popped in for the Sunday carvery. The roast beef was spot on, really tender. Loads of veg options, and those roast potatoes were the highlight - crispy outside, fluffy inside. Solid choice for a lazy weekend lunch.

The pizza is so good, perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. They deliver too, which is a bonus.
