The staff are really quick to clear tables, which is nice. Keeps the place feeling clean and tidy.

Booked for a birthday, and the steak fajitas sizzler was spot on. Arrived quickly too, which was a lifesaver.

Been here a few times for events. The private room upstairs is perfect for a small group, and the view is just as good every time.

The Mexican burger here has a good kick to it. The patty was juicy and the spice level was just right, not overpowering. That's what I came for. Portions are decent.

The vegan fish and chips is a really nice dish. The banana blossom is a clever idea, and the booth seating was comfy.

Nice spot on the seafront. They had a local lobster special one day, but it was sold out by the time we got there.

The brownies are so good, I had to get a box to take home. The staff were really friendly and helpful when I was picking out flavours. It's a lovely little spot for a treat.

Nick the owner is so lovely, really makes you feel at home. The food is fresh and you can tell it's made with care. Perfect spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

The fish was cooked fresh, batter was light and crisp. Chips were golden and fluffy. Mushy peas were a nice touch. That’s pretty much it.

Stopped by with my family, four of us. Every small plate was a hit. Really liked the presentation. Hard to pick a favourite.

Stumbled upon this cafe just off the high street. The coffee and homemade cakes are very reasonably priced. Soup and coffee were served properly hot, which I appreciate. Good spot for a quick, no-fuss lunch.

Great find on holiday. Owners were super helpful, even called a taxi for us.

Popped in for the Sunday carvery. The roast beef was spot on, really tender. Loads of veg options, and those roast potatoes were the highlight - crispy outside, fluffy inside. Solid choice for a lazy weekend lunch.

A lovely spot near the beach. The festive decor was a nice touch. Food was solid, especially the savoury scones. My only gripe was the wine list felt a bit limited for the menu. Could have used a few more interesting reds by the glass.

Been coming here for years, and the lunch deal is still spot on. Two courses for under £12, and the portions are decent. Everything always arrives hot, which is a big plus for me. The chocolate brownie is a proper treat.

Been coming here for years, it's our local. The real ales are always spot on, a proper selection. Nice and quiet on a Tuesday afternoon, just how we like it. A proper village pub.

Nice spot by the river, the viaduct view is lovely on a sunny day. Had a pint and the ploughman's lunch. The portion was decent for the price, felt like a proper pub meal.

The Sunday roast was solid. Went for the lamb, which was cooked just right, and the cauliflower cheese was a nice touch. Portions are definitely generous here, no complaints on that front.

Been coming here for years and the fish is still the star. The batter is so light and crisp, and the fish itself is always fresh. The chips are decent too.

The private room was handy for our group. Menu had a lot of options, which helped as everyone wanted something different. The lamb shank was the standout for me, really tender and fell off the bone.

The risotto was spot on, and the seafood linguine had a nice kick. But the real star was the house red - a surprisingly smooth Sangiovese that paired beautifully with both dishes. Makes a difference when the wine list isn't an afterthought.

The raspberry croissant brioche doughnut was so fresh, you could tell the pastry was made that morning. The fruit filling tasted like real berries, not too sweet. It did get quite crowded at lunch, had to wait a minute for a seat.

Had a big group dinner here. Staff handled our 20 people really well - all the meals arrived hot and as ordered. They were friendly and didn’t seem rushed at all.

A decent spot for a quiet drink. The atmosphere is relaxed, and they’re dog-friendly, which is nice. Staff were pleasant enough. It’s fine for meeting a friend, though the beer selection could be a bit better.

As a coeliac, I was genuinely impressed by the gluten-free menu here. So many choices! The tables are a bit snug, but the food portions are generous and everything tasted spot on. A really nice find.
