Really liked the aero Guinness and the pork scratchings as a side. The non-alcoholic options were a nice touch for a change.

Susie and Tiff at the bar. Just brilliant. They remember your name, what you like. Made us feel right at home. That's the main thing for me.

Proper local pub. Had a couple of their real ales, the selection is solid. Just a nice, relaxed spot for a quiet pint. Staff were friendly without being over the top.

Great spot for a pre-show drink, especially if you're heading to the Piece Hall. The outdoor seating is a real plus. My dog was made very welcome, which is always nice.

Solid Sunday roast. The beef was tender, and the veg had a nice bite to them. Yorkshire puddings were spot on – crispy outside, fluffy inside. Decent portion for the price around here.

Lovely pub with a great, shaded terrace. The beer selection was spot on for a sunny afternoon. Staff were friendly and professional.

The staff were so careful with hygiene, masks and sanitizer everywhere. Even on a packed Saturday night, I felt completely safe dining here. That’s a big deal for me. The grilled salmon was lovely, really fresh.

The sound system here is really something else, especially after dark. The bass hits just right, doesn't feel muddy at all. They've got some decent DJs on most nights too, keeps the vibe going.

This is a proper old-fashioned pub, tucked away in an alley off Briggate. Dark wood, leather benches, the classic feel. They had a couple of real ales on handpump – the bitter was spot on with my pie. The outdoor seating in the alley is a nice spot for a quiet pint.

The bento box was really nicely presented. For the price, the food was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made for a relaxed lunch.

A proper local pub, just what you wanted. The beer is excellent, and the staff are so friendly. It's a relaxed, no-fuss spot. Perfect for a quiet pint or to catch the game. The food is standard pub grub, which is fine for what it is. A comfortable place to settle in.

Popped in for a late breakfast. The bacon and egg sandwich is the move here - crispy bacon, runny yolk, on a soft brioche bun. Quick and friendly service as always. A solid choice when you need something reliable.

Been coming here for years. That upstairs spot on the quiet corner is my go-to. Always bright, never feels crowded. It's just a reliable place to sit and unwind for a bit.

Spotless place, you can see right into the kitchen from the dining area. Always makes me feel better about the food prep. It's a nice, open setup.

Been ordering from here for a while now. The food is always spot on, never had a miss. And it's always delivered right on time, which is a huge plus for me. Really appreciate the consistency.

Ordered the sushi platter again last night. The fish is always fresh, and they don't skimp on the portions. For what you pay, you get a decent amount. It's my go-to when I just want something reliable and filling.
