Cozy spot. Had the pasta with truffle cream sauce. Really hit the spot on a rainy evening. Restrooms were clean, which is a plus.

Ali was so helpful, letting me order off-menu! The portions are huge, perfect for sharing with friends. 🍻

A proper family-run place, the owners are so lovely. The pasta tasted just like my nonna used to make – you can really feel the care in it. That kind of homely vibe is rare these days.

Been here a few times for breakfast. Their full English is solid, generous portions. The veggie option is decent too. Nice to sit outside when it's sunny, and they don't mind dogs.

The warm Whortleberry and Apple Cake was lovely, especially with the clotted cream. My loose leaf tea was a great match for it, not too strong. A very pleasant way to end a meal.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially when the place got busy. They took the time to walk me through the wine list, which made choosing a bottle to go with our mains much easier. Service was spot on.

The full breakfast here was spot on, exactly what you'd want. I was really pleased to see a decent selection of craft beers on tap, which paired nicely with the hearty food. If you're in Barry Island, it's worth heading over.

Love bringing my friends here. Staff are always so friendly, and the coffee's spot on for a catch-up.

The set menu for two was huge, honestly could've fed three of us! We ended up taking some home. Great for sharing if you're really hungry.

Been coming here for years, and the bubble and squeak is always spot on. Nice to see they still have the dog-friendly tables out front too.

They sent over a fresh pizza and a note when we mentioned a dietary issue. Really appreciated the thought. The new one was spot on.

Lovely chilled vibe here, even on a busy Friday night. It's the kind of place where you can actually hear your friends talk. Just a really nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Stumbled upon this place while wandering around. The chocolate and banana cookie was a real highlight — way bigger than I thought it would be! The whole vibe is just so relaxed, with comfy chairs and soft lighting. A nice spot to unwind.

Josh was on it. Three courses for that price, solid deal. Pasta was decent, steak fine. Just a good, easy dinner with mates. No fuss.

The beef carvery was incredible, honestly. The owner and staff were so lovely and had a great sense of humour. They really went out of their way to make sure we were looked after.

Been coming here for years, and the lunch deal is still the main reason. A proper full-sized pizza for that price, even when they're packed. It's just reliable.

The curry sauce is always spot on. Thick and full of flavour, never watery. That's why I keep coming back.

Decent value for money here. The food was served hot and looked fine on the plate. A solid spot for a casual meal.

The honey chilli chicken was so tender! We ended up with leftovers, which was perfect for a lazy next-day lunch with my flatmate.

The team here are just so lovely. Our server remembered my name from a visit a few months back, which was a really nice touch. They're attentive without hovering, you know? Makes a difference.

Been here a few times now. Portions are generous for the price, and it's always a decent meal. Food comes out fast, which is a plus. Never had a bad dish, it's just solid.

Plenty of parking. Great to find such variety on a pub menu, available online at the Vintage Inns site, along with any allergy details for which you may need to allow. Driving today, so was not able to sample the Doom Bar beer. Pepsi Max and Fruity fizzy drinks, instead. Well chilled. Chose the Crab Cake starter & Moroccan Chicken skewers. Food was perfectly prepared with fantastic taste. Fairly quiet early on a Monday evening, but still a pleasant environment with gentle background music. Not the best weather this evening, but noted the outdoor seating is well furnished and extensive for a hot, sunny day. A couple of steps down to the main restaurant area, but the Inn had noted our booking requirements and had thankfully allocated us a table in the quiet part of the upper area.

Nice spot for a post-walk pint. The local ale selection was spot on, and the back terrace is a proper sun trap. Bus stop outside is handy.

The fish and chips were decent, a proper portion for the price. It's solid pub food, nothing fancy. The welcome was warm, which was nice, but I'm really just looking at the plate. For what you pay, you get a good feed.

The food ..Sunday Lunch was exceptional.Best I've had in ages. My wife said the same.Fully recommend. The staff were very attentive and pleasant.

The ice cream portions are generous, which is nice. I appreciate that they use fresh fruit in their sorbets - you can really taste it. The view of the marina is lovely for a relaxing afternoon.

The Sunday roast is pretty good here. We had the beef, which was decent. The roast potatoes were nice and fluffy, and the sweet potato purée was a tasty touch. Portions are generous. It was a bit busy, but that's to be expected on a Sunday.
