Our Friday night ritual. Fish and chips from here, every time. Batter is crisp, chips are proper. Never lets us down.

The mixed grill here is a proper feast. The meat was so tender, honestly. Portions are huge, I couldn't finish it all. Just a solid, hearty plate.

The bacon sandwich was really good - nice thick bacon and proper bread. The full breakfast was fine, hot and decent value.

Lovely staff, super friendly. The food was spot on, especially the lamb chops. A real find. Bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

The staff here are genuinely lovely. They remembered my name from a previous visit and checked in just the right amount. It's a small thing, but it makes such a difference. You don't get that personal touch everywhere these days.

Service was lovely and chatty. The fish and chips were exactly what I needed - crispy batter, flaky fish, and proper chunky chips. Really hit the spot after a long walk.

The portions here are huge. Ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was massive, easily enough for two. For the price, you really get a lot of food.

The fish and chips are a real treat. That batter is so crispy, and the fish inside is always tender and fresh. Just a proper portion, really hits the spot.

The Sunday roast is a decent size with a nice mix of veg. The apple and cherry crumble was a good finish, though the custard was a bit thin.

Been coming here for years, and they always remember the small things. Got a little dessert on the house for our anniversary again.

Great vibe with the live music and open fire. Really enjoyed the evening.

Had the roast pork for lunch. The meat was tender, and the crackling was spot on. A proper Sunday roast, felt like a classic British pub meal. The gravy could have been a bit richer, but overall a solid choice for a traditional lunch.

The outdoor space is lovely for a ceremony. And the seats were really comfortable, which made the whole evening feel relaxed.

Food's really good, but it gets packed in the evenings. I called ahead to order for pickup, which was the right call - saved me a long wait. Solid casual spot.

Portions are huge here, could easily share one main between two. Food was good, not greasy. Ate the chicken curry, very filling. Left with a doggy bag.

Had a lovely meal here last night. The service was really great - our server was so attentive and friendly, made us feel right at home. Definitely want to come back soon.

The landlord was so nice, really went the extra mile for my dietary restrictions. Felt genuinely looked after, which is rare.

The Green Man offers a fantastic selection on the menu, and the staff, especially Mike and Sophie, provide excellent service that makes you feel welcome and comfortable.

The tuna platter and salmon bento looked lovely. The fish was very fresh, which I always appreciate. They did forget a small side, but the staff noticed and apologised right away.

Cosy spot, really liked the vibe. Simple but warm inside, felt relaxed. The desserts are a highlight for sure - the chocolate tart was spot on.

Came here for a quiet lunch and a read. The modern, cozy vibe was just right for that. Staff were really friendly, which made it a nice, relaxed stop.

Nice to see proper veggie options. We made our own thali with four curries. The portions were generous for the price, so it felt like a proper meal. Couldn't finish it all.

The hot chocolate here is seriously good - rich, not too sweet, and the perfect warmth. Sipping it while looking out at the sea view is a real treat. That's what keeps me coming back.

We were a table of eight, and everything arrived piping hot and quickly. The drinks were spot on too. My only tiny gripe? The portions felt a touch small for the price. Still, everyone cleared their plates.

Solid Sunday roast spot. Got the beef, huge portion and really tender. It’s a bit of a wait when it’s busy, but the vibe’s nice.

We try to visit the Foundry every time that we visit friends in Canterbury (about twice a year). Every visit the food, beer, & service has been excellent. Highly recommended!

The sourdough chicken and pesto pizza was pretty good. An interesting twist on a classic, the crust had a nice chew to it. It was a bit on the pricey side for the size, but I'd get it again.

Great spot right by the beach. Grabbed an ice cream after a long walk, and they had a decent selection of local craft beers too. The view from the little patio is just what you need.

The char siu pork is incredible, honestly the best I've had since my trip to Hong Kong. But the real star was the view from the upstairs window – just watching the light change over the water made the whole evening.

Had a big group dinner here. The staff handled it so well, really attentive without being overbearing. Food was good, but honestly the service stood out. They kept things moving smoothly, which isn't easy with a full table.
