Solid spot in Maldon. Food was good, service efficient. Staff were friendly without being overbearing.

Friendly staff, they really make you feel welcome. The cafe itself is spotless, which is nice. Had a decent coffee and a slice of cake, nothing fancy but a solid spot for a quick stop.

The food here is honestly the best I've found in this part of town. My pasta arrived steaming hot, which was a nice touch. Portions are generous too, definitely didn't leave hungry.

The scones were fresh and warm, the clotted cream was rich. I appreciated the loose-leaf tea, it felt like a proper pot. A nice, simple treat for a quiet afternoon.

The seafood is definitely top-notch, so you get what you pay for. Portions are on the smaller side, but each dish is packed with flavour. It's more about quality than a huge plate.

Lovely little tea room. The afternoon tea was generous - two rounds of sandwiches, a big scone, and a proper slice of cake. The tea selection was decent, though I would have loved a glass of something sparkling to go with it. No rush at all, which was nice.

The pork loin roast was a generous plate, with plenty of meat, potatoes, and veg. The space itself is lovely—high ceilings and those big, comfy booths make it easy to settle in for a while.

Tofu in black bean sauce was flavourful and the veg spring rolls tasted fresh. Portions were decent for the price, which is always a plus. I left feeling satisfied without feeling like I'd overpaid.

Brought my dog along, they were cool with it. Had a burger while he chilled under the table. Good spot if you're out with your pup.

The food here is consistently pretty good, with a decent variety. It's become my go-to spot for Indian in the area.

The staff are so kind and attentive. When my friend had a small accident, they were incredibly helpful and even brought a proper first aid kit. It made a potentially stressful situation much easier. Really appreciated their care.

The fish and chips were the best I've had in ages. The batter was super crispy and light, not greasy at all. The chips were proper thick-cut and fluffy inside. Just a really solid plate of food.

Popped in for a quick bite after a walk. The fish tacos were made fresh to order, which you don't always get. Nice spot being so close to the beach too.

Love the smashed avocado on toast. The eggs royale is a solid choice too. Got there around 9 and it was nice and quiet, had a good spot by the window.

Got the usual sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice. Portions are huge, easily enough for two meals. The rice was a bit greasy this time, but still decent value for the price.

The curries here are spot on. Rich, flavourful gravies and the meat is always so tender. Best in this part of Kent for sure.

Love that they're so dog-friendly! Our pup got a little water bowl and some treats, made it feel really welcoming for the whole family. A nice spot to relax with him.

The coffee was just right, and I loved the little slice of lemon drizzle cake. But the chips were the real star - golden and crispy, exactly how they should be. A lovely spot to warm up after a breezy walk.

Chicken noodle soup was loaded with goodies, not just broth. So satisfying!

The coffee here is excellent, and the staff were happy to suggest a great wine to go with my lunch. A lovely, friendly spot.

Came on a quiet night. The waitress was lovely, we ended up having a really nice chat. The all-you-can-eat selection is decent, but yeah, it's definitely pricier than just getting takeaway.

Nice spot for a casual dinner. The staff were friendly and the vibe was relaxed. Food was solid, left feeling full. Might be a bit pricey for what it is though.

The coffee milkshake was the star. Made the old-fashioned way, it’s thick and creamy, not overly sweet. Really hits the spot. A bit pricey for a shake, but you can taste the quality.

Lovely spot by the water. The light in the evening was just right, soft and golden. It felt calm. A bit pricey for the portion, but that view... it was nice.

The steak was cooked just right, juicy and flavourful. The chips were proper thick-cut ones, which I always appreciate. Service was spot-on, attentive without being overbearing. A solid meal.

Been coming here for years, and the lamb rack is always spot on. Just as good as the first time.

Payday treat spot for me! The staff are so lovely and friendly, they really make you feel welcome. That's what keeps me coming back. The decor is beautiful too, but it's the people that make it special.

They had a separate gluten-free menu and seemed really careful about cross-contamination. Felt safe ordering, which is a relief when you have to watch what you eat.

The rib eye was spot on, and the seafood linguini had a lovely bite to it. The pizza was a nice surprise. What really made the evening was the wine list – a solid selection of reds that paired beautifully with the steak. A good find in the neighbourhood.

The jalapeño margarita here is a must. It’s got this perfect little kick that’s not too spicy, just really refreshing. I ended up ordering a second one!
