A proper dog-friendly spot. Our pup got a little treat bowl right away, which was a nice touch. Makes it easy to grab a decent lunch without having to leave him at home. Food was solid, no complaints.

The Fungi Bianco pizza was good, a solid choice. Came with a group of six for a quick business dinner. The place was quite loud, made conversation a bit difficult. Service was efficient, got us in and out in about an hour.

The set meal for two was huge, we ended up with doggy bags. The house red was a solid, easy-drinking choice that paired well with the hearty portions.

The portions here are huge! We ordered the pasta and a pizza, and there was so much left over. It's tasty, but maybe a bit too much for two people. Good value though.

Great for a quick coffee break. They have a decent selection of used books and records to browse while you sip. Coffee was good, not amazing, but hit the spot. A bit cramped inside though.

Been a few times since the new owners took over. Place is definitely cleaner and the staff are friendly.

Super dog-friendly! Staff brought treats for our pups. The Texan smash burger was spot on and a fair price.

First time here, staff were really attentive and asked about allergies. Food was tasty and hit the spot. Good drink options too.

Been coming here for years. The lamb is always spot on, cooked just right every single time. That’s why I keep coming back.

Stopped in for a coffee. The space is lovely - really liked the high ceilings and the big windows, makes it feel so light and airy. Staff were friendly too. A nice spot to just sit for a bit.

We're regulars now. The food is always spot on, and the takeaway arrives early and hot. The welcome is genuinely warm.

Medine was so welcoming and kind. I really appreciated how she took the time to explain the ingredients in the white Turkish wine we ordered. It was crisp and fresh, made from local grapes. A lovely, light pairing for our meal.

Came here for dinner last night. The South Indian dishes were really authentic, you could tell they know their roots. Portions were decent for the price, left feeling satisfied without breaking the bank. Staff were nice and attentive too.

Staff were lovely and the place had a nice vibe. Food was tasty, but the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price. I left still feeling a bit peckish, which was a shame.

Managed to snag a last-minute table on a packed Friday. Staff were genuinely lovely despite the rush. The food was spot on, and the wine list had a few interesting local options that paired nicely. A solid evening.

Nice place for families. The kids' menu is spot on, and the coffee's good. Upstairs play area is a lifesaver for parents needing a break. The carpet's looking a bit tired, but the little ones don't seem to mind.

Came here on my own with my dog, they’re dog-friendly inside which is a big plus. Ordered the cheesecake, it was really good. Portion was decent for the price, felt like a fair deal. Nice spot for a solo bite.

Pad Thai is my go-to here, always hits the spot. The lychee mocktail was a nice, refreshing touch on a warm evening. Solid spot for a casual meal.

Nice break from the usual. The enjeera bread is spongy and perfect for sharing. Felt like a proper social meal, everyone just digging in together. A bit loud when it gets busy, but that's part of the vibe.

The beef rendang here is something else. Slow-cooked for hours, the meat just falls apart. The spices are deep and complex, not just heat. It's rich, almost like a curry but drier. A proper, hearty dish. Could eat this every week.

A clean spot with a homely feel. I specifically asked about their sourcing and was pleased to confirm they use Halal meat and poultry. The chicken in my dish was really fresh and tender. It's good to know the ingredients are handled with care.

The fish and chips are a proper portion, and the batter is so crisp. Not greasy at all. For a seafront spot, the price felt fair. That crispy crunch was everything.

Fish and chips were cooked fresh, which did mean a bit of a wait. Service was efficient. The view of the sea from the window table was the main highlight for me.

Nice touch with the scissors for the tartare sauce packets. Little things like that make a difference. Fish was fresh, chips were decent. Could have been a bit hotter though.

The terrace view is lovely on a sunny morning. Had the eggs benedict here for breakfast. It was nice, but for the price, I did expect a slightly bigger portion. The sea view was the main draw.

The sandwiches and paninis are a nice change from fried food. Everything's made fresh, so there's a bit of a wait.

This place is amazing and the desserts and ice-cream are spectacular. Favourite spot in Southend-on-Sea!!!

The all-you-can-eat is solid value for the price. Food quality is consistently good, which is key for a buffet. Service was responsive even during a busy lunch hour. A practical option for a straightforward meal.
