We try to visit the Foundry every time that we visit friends in Canterbury (about twice a year). Every visit the food, beer, & service has been excellent. Highly recommended!

The sourdough chicken and pesto pizza was pretty good. An interesting twist on a classic, the crust had a nice chew to it. It was a bit on the pricey side for the size, but I'd get it again.

Great spot right by the beach. Grabbed an ice cream after a long walk, and they had a decent selection of local craft beers too. The view from the little patio is just what you need.

Had a solid Old Fashioned at the bar before the meal - probably the best I've had here. The Korean wings and mussels were both good. Service was efficient and attentive throughout. A reliable spot for a business dinner.

Sunday lunch was lovely. The vibe is smart casual, which I really appreciate. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Food came out quickly and tasted great. Cocktails were a nice touch too. Good spot on the high street.

I had a lovely time at the Alex with friends. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff, particularly Cora, were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our visit memorable.

Bottomless brunch is a solid deal. Cocktails were good, service on point.

Score would have been higher but Resturante was cold, they put two small heaters near our table but still cold. Also they missed my wife’s desert & when we asked were told all locked up so she missed out which she was not happy about. Otherwise food was good, well cooked & tasty.

Such a great spot for catching up with friends! The staff are so lovely and really made us feel welcome. It's got that nice, relaxed vibe that's perfect for a long chat over dinner. Just a bit on the pricier side, but worth it for the service.

Been coming here for years, and the dosa is always spot on. Crispy, not greasy, the way I like it. The chutneys are fresh too. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Two pies, mash with liquor, and two coffees came to under £20. That's good value for central London. The pies were solid, proper comfort food. Coffee was decent. Service was quick, which I appreciate on a working lunch.

The scones were lovely and fresh, just perfect with the clotted cream. The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the whole afternoon feel very relaxed. A really pleasant spot for a quiet treat.

Really liked the vibe here. It's got that industrial-chic thing going on, but the lighting is soft and the chairs are actually comfortable. You could easily spend a couple of hours just relaxing.

Walked in for lunch and got a table straight away. The service was quick and friendly, which made it a nice, easy meal.

The buffet's a solid value. Good variety, and everything I tried was fresh. Staff were attentive, kept the tables cleared. A bit crowded on a Saturday, but service didn't suffer.

Been here a few times now. The staff are always really friendly and polite, which makes a big difference. It’s just a nice, relaxed vibe every time you walk in.

A quiet cafe-style spot, slightly off the main tourist track. The staff were friendly and efficient. Good for a relaxed business lunch without the usual crowd noise. Food was solid, service was prompt. Exactly what I needed between meetings.

Service was really on point even though it was packed. They checked in a few times to let us know our table was almost ready, which was nice. Felt looked after without being rushed.

Hina was great. Really attentive, remembered our drinks, and had a lovely way about her. Made the whole evening feel a bit more relaxed. Service like that is a nice touch.

They were very careful with my nut allergy, double-checking the menu and the kitchen. It's a relief to eat out without worrying. The food was decent, though the wait was a bit long.

Decent pub for a quick catch-up. Drinks are reasonably priced, staff are efficient. Good spot near the station.

Joseph was so lovely and attentive, really made the evening. The food was spot-on, too. Just a really nice vibe all round.

Lovely garden for the kids to run around. The mushroom dishes are really good and not too pricey. A nice, relaxed place for a family meal.

Impressive space. The ox tongue starter and lamb shank were solid, went well with their chilli sauce.

As a coeliac, I've ordered here several times. The gluten-free options are clearly marked and the kitchen seems to handle it properly—no issues. Food is consistently good. Appreciate the straightforward approach.

I had a lovely breakfast here, and the service from Lesley was exceptional—she was warm and welcoming, making the experience even better.

Lovely cosy pub, ideal for a catch-up with friends. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel right at home.

The gluten-free options are a real plus for me. I had the grilled salmon with quinoa salad, and everything tasted so fresh. The salmon was cooked just right, and the salad greens were crisp. It's nice to have a place where you can find healthy choices that don't feel like an afterthought.

Solid fish and chips here. The cod had a really nice, crispy batter and the chips were proper fresh-cut. Just a classic done right, you know?
