The pizza was spot on - thin, crisp base, really fresh. Service was quick, no fuss. Cookies were a nice touch, still warm. Just a bit pricey for what it is, but you can tell they care about the basics.

The duck and plum sauce bento was the star for me. The sauce had this deep, tangy-sweet flavour that went so well with the really tender meat. Rice was spot on too. Just a really solid, tasty lunch.

Decent pub with early evening deals. The fish and chips portion was huge, and the fish tasted fresh. Good value for a quick meal after work.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. The place is much bigger than it looks from outside, so never had to wait for a table. Got the beef noodle soup - came out fast and hit the spot. Good for when you're in a rush.

Decent all-you-can-eat spot. The chicken wings and garlic mushrooms were the best part, really good. Everything else was just okay.

Nice spot for families. The staff were really friendly with the kids, which helped a lot. The beer garden is a big plus, gives everyone some space. Portions are decent for the price, we didn't leave hungry.

Burger was spot on. Sandwich special had loads of stuff in it. Quick bite, even though it's a bit out of the way.

Nice spot for a morning coffee. The outdoor tables are good on a sunny day. Had a tea cake with it, which was fine. A bit pricey for what it is, but it's local so I pop in now and then.

The carrot cake is the thing here. Moist, not too sweet, with a cream cheese frosting that has a nice tang. It's what I come for. The coffee is decent, but honestly, it's all about that slice of cake.

Love the vibe in this old building, feels like stepping back in time. Perfect for a chilled evening with friends. The lighting was just right, not too bright. Could sit here for hours.

The taro tapioca milk tea was lovely. I really appreciate that they use fresh taro in the drink, you can taste the difference.

I had a lovely meal at this pub with generous portion sizes. The staff were exceptionally friendly and informed us about upcoming events, making our visit even better.

The coffee is the star here. I had a flat white by the window and the flavour was so rich and smooth. It's my new favourite spot for a quiet moment. The vibe is just right.

Love building my own stir-fry bowl here. Always comes out piping hot and they really pile it high in the box. The veggies stay nice and crisp, which is key for me.

The food was really good, but what stood out was how comfortable the seating was. I could actually relax and enjoy my meal without feeling rushed. The service was friendly and attentive, which made for a very pleasant evening out.

Had the Christmas carvery here. The roast potatoes were crisp, the turkey was moist. The spiced apple crumble was a nice finish, you could taste the fresh apples. Staff were friendly as usual. A good, hearty meal.

Nice to see vegan options on the menu. The 'chickn' was solid, and it paired well with a crisp lager. Chips could've been a bit crispier for me.

Had the lamb and chicken souvlaki. Both were cooked well, no dryness. Dips tasted fresh. Flavours are authentic, no complaints there. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. Convenient for a quick business lunch near the office.

Popped in for lunch after getting off the train. It's dead handy being so close to the station. Had the fish and chips with a cocktail. The fish was fresh and the batter was nice and crisp, just how I like it. A solid spot for a quick bite.

Kelly was so lovely with our big group. She checked in just the right amount and had a really nice way about her. Made the whole evening easy.

Curtained booths are a nice touch for a quick lunch. Keeps things private while you eat. Food came out fast, which is what I needed. Solid spot for a no-fuss meal.

Stumbled upon this place behind the bar – such a cool find. The vibe is really unique, with all these interesting little details in the decor. Felt like a proper little hideaway for a chilled evening.

A nice spot in Brindley Place. The halal fajitas were pretty good, and the mocktail selection is decent. Staff were very welcoming.

Portions are generous for the price. The monthly specials are a nice touch. Had the full breakfast last weekend - eggs were spot on, and the bacon was proper crispy. Good, solid value on the morning menu.

Im a support worker, and took a lady i support .she loved it.had alot of cats around us ,and they kept playing with us was lively

Been for their bottomless brunch a few times. Two hours for the price, which is decent. Cocktails kept coming, good variety. Food's alright, nothing fancy. Does the job for a lazy weekend.

Friendly staff and a nice vibe with the live music. Food portions were generous, tasted good. They gave us a free round for my birthday, which was a nice touch. Solid spot.

The interior of Slug and Lettuce is beautifully designed, creating a lovely ambiance. The food was delicious, especially the chicken tacos, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

The manager and team are wonderfully accommodating, ensuring events run seamlessly and every request is met with genuine hospitality.

Went with my boyfriend as a first date and it was absolutely wonderful, both really enjoyed it. Everyone was so kind and so welcoming and friendly would definitely go again x
