Been coming here for years. Booked for a big group on a packed Saturday night. They handled it all without a fuss, service was still spot-on even when the place was heaving. Food's always reliable.

Good food, attentive service. The steak was cooked exactly as requested. Price point is a bit high for what you get, but the location is very convenient for a business lunch.

Sunday roast was spot on, the gravy had this rich depth to it. Just a really solid, comforting meal for a lazy afternoon. Staff were lovely and attentive.

Been coming here for years, and the mussels starter is why. Always spot on. Grabbed a table in the marquee last Friday—it's a good setup for busy nights, even if it gets a bit draughty sometimes.

Stopped for coffee and cake. Really appreciated the good range of gluten-free and dairy-free options. The staff were lovely and helpful.

I chose the Hedgehog as I wasn't from around the area and was going on a date. I saw previous ratings and thought it looked beautiful. It was, It was a perfect relaxed setting with lots of character. I cant wait to come back, especially in the summer as the grounds looked lovely. Thank you for a service we had a wonderful time. We will definately be returning. Staff were extremely polite and attentive, Food was beautiful, Great prices, I downloaded the app so I was lucky enough to receive 50% off mains. Thank you.

Ordered via the app, which was smooth. The delivery to the car is a nice touch. I appreciated the customisation for my burger. Paired it with their house red – a simple but solid match for the meal. The wine list is decent for a casual spot.

Been coming here for a while. The portions are reliably large - my partner and I can easily share a main and one side dish. It's a practical option for a straightforward meal.

Came with a big group and they handled us really well. The staff didn’t seem flustered at all, which made the whole thing relaxed. Everyone got their food without any fuss.

The weekly menu could use a few more veggie-friendly dishes. Hard to pick when you're dining with a mixed group!

Been here a few times now. Asha, the manager, always remembers us and says hello, which is a nice touch. The staff are quick, never kept waiting for the bill.

The braised steak was great, but the wine list could use a bit more depth.

Always bustling, which I like. Menu's huge, took a while to decide. The pasta I had was solid, hearty portion. Saw a proposal happen at the next table – nice moment, not too loud. Decent spot for a casual meal.

The mixed grill is generous and the meat is charcoal-grilled. You can really taste the freshness in the ingredients.

Nice spot for a business lunch. The historic building and rustic decor make for a pleasant, low-pressure environment. Service was efficient, got us in and out within the hour. Food was decent, nothing spectacular but did the job. Convenient location near the office.

Popped in for a quick lunch, the place was packed. Staff were really on it though, got my order sorted fast and checked in without being pushy. Made a busy visit feel easy.

A smart spot in Uttoxeter. The garlic chilli chicken madras was fresh and nicely spicy. Chapatis and mushroom rice were good, not greasy.

Had a lovely family meal here. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted in every dish. The salmon was particularly good, cooked just right and served with crisp greens. Portions were generous, which is always a plus.

Nice spot for a sunny afternoon pint. Sat out front watching the world go by. They had a guy playing acoustic guitar later on, which was a nice surprise. The back area by the little pond is quieter if that's more your thing.

Tandoori king prawns were spot on. Staff were really welcoming too, a nice surprise near the airport.

The ingredients tasted so fresh, you could tell they were carefully sourced. Really appreciated the relaxed pace, it let us enjoy the evening.

Breakfast was a real highlight. Everything was spotless, staff were really upbeat. For a hotel breakfast, it's up there with the best I've had. Quick and efficient service too, perfect for getting on with the day.

Came for a birthday dinner. They brought out a small cake with a card, which was a nice surprise. Honestly, the gesture was lovely, but the main courses themselves felt a bit small for the price you pay.

Been coming here for years, the food's always spot on. Love the cosy vibe, feels like a proper neighbourhood spot.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Got the chicken wrap, came out fast and was tasty. Busy spot but service is efficient. Good for a quick bite.

great food, the starter: meat balls in tomato sauce was amazing!!! pizza as well.

The staff were so friendly and attentive to my dietary needs, which made me feel completely at ease. We had the nacho brisket sharer to start - a really tasty choice. The whole place just felt clean and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed meal.

Organised a work dinner for 42 colleagues. Was a bit worried about the service for a group that size, but the drinks and food all came out without a hitch. Really impressed with how smoothly they ran it.
