Been here a few times for a quick business lunch. The food is reliable and they have a solid choice of local beers and wines by the glass. Service is efficient. Prices are fair for the area.

A decent spot right by the Taff Trail, very handy for cyclists. The beer garden is nice when the sun's out. Food was pretty good, though my chips were a touch cold. Would pop in again.

The tasting menu was a delight. I really appreciated how fresh and vibrant the ingredients were in each course. The wine pairings suggested were thoughtful, though I would have loved a non-alcoholic pairing option too.

Been getting takeaway from here for years now. The food always arrives hot, and it tastes exactly the same as eating at the restaurant. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years, and their Sunday roast is always spot on. The chicken and beef are consistently hot, and the veg selection is generous. It's just a reliable, solid meal every time.

Came for a quick lunch, got the fish and chips. Portion was huge, honestly could have shared it. The chips were proper thick cut. Felt like decent value for what you get.

Found this place tucked away and the food was spot on. Their lamb curry had real depth, and the sommelier suggested a bold red that cut through the richness perfectly. A bit on the pricier side for the portions, but the pairing made it worthwhile.

Been coming here for ages, they remember my usual order without me even asking. That kind of personal touch is really nice. Makes you feel looked after, you know?

Stumbled upon this spot. The espresso was strong and smooth, and the nata was spot on. Really liked the vibe in here.

Lovely, peaceful gardens to wander through on a Sunday. The cafe's salad was a real highlight for me – so crisp and fresh, you could tell the greens were just picked. A nice, light option after a stroll. The ping pong tables are a fun touch, too.

Robyn was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The service felt genuinely friendly and warm, which really added to the evening. A lovely experience.

Cozy spot. The lamb combo was cooked fresh in front of us and paired nicely with a robust red. Good value for the quality.

The chips were spot on. Hot, crispy, not greasy at all. Sometimes it's the simple things done right that make a difference. Portion was decent too.

The Sunday carvery is a proper treat. Really liked the variety of meats and all the trimmings. The roasties were spot on - crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Just a solid, comforting roast in a nice, relaxed setting.

First time here and the poppadoms really stood out. The sauces were incredible, especially that green chutney. Service was kind, but those starters were the highlight for me.

The food is always solid, but I really like the vibe here. It’s got a nice, relaxed feel—good lighting, comfy chairs, nothing too loud. Just a really pleasant place to have a meal.

The menu has some nice options beyond the usual fish and chips. I tried their Mediterranean salad, and the ingredients were really fresh. The feta cheese and olives tasted good, and the greens were crisp. It's a solid choice if you're looking for something lighter.

The low beams and rustic decor really give this place character. Felt cosy and welcoming as soon as we walked in. A lovely spot for a quiet dinner.
