Great beer garden out the back, really comes into its own on a sunny afternoon. Solid choice of local ales. Staff are a friendly bunch, which makes a difference. A proper local.

Lovely little family-run place. The set menu is good value and everything was presented so nicely. What I really appreciated was the host walking us to the door when we left – a very kind gesture.

Portions are huge and nothing was overcooked. The salad was a nice touch.

Lovely outdoor seating with grapevines. A nice spot, though the portions felt a bit small for the price.

Was here on a busy carnival day. Jon was great - super quick and friendly. Got my order sorted fast so I could get back to the crowds. Exactly what you need when you're in a rush.

The coffee here is properly strong, not just hot milk. Really appreciate that. Prices are also more reasonable than other places in town.

The pizzas here are really tasty and the prices are spot on for what you get. It's a relaxed place for a straightforward, filling meal. My only note is that the chairs are a bit basic for a longer sit, but for a quick bite it's just fine.

Been here a few times. The food's always solid, and the team are really nice. It's my go-to when I just want a dependable burger and a pint without any fuss.

Nice little spot tucked away from the main drag. The welcome was warm, and the coffee was spot on. Tried a slice of their homemade carrot cake - really good, moist and not too sweet. Just the right kind of place to unwind.

Walked in without a booking. The halloumi burger was solid, and they had a whole separate menu for vegan/gluten-free stuff. Good for when you're with a mixed group.

The quiz nights are a blast, and they’ve got a decent selection of local ales to enjoy while you play. Gets pretty busy though.

We had a lovely meal served in a timely fashion by a great guy called Neil who was very attentive and was excellent with my grandson

The weekday set menu is a solid deal. Went for the beef cheek – it was fall-apart tender, really rich. Could have done with a touch more seasoning, but the flavour was deep. The accompanying mash was smooth. That's what I'm here for.

The late-night beef noodle soup hit the spot. The broth had a deep, slow-cooked flavour, and the noodles were just the right texture. A solid choice when you're craving something warm and savoury after hours.

Been popping in for ages. The food’s always solid, and the app makes ordering and paying a breeze when you’re in a rush. Service is spot on every time.

The staff were so friendly and kept checking in on us. Made the whole dinner with friends feel really relaxed and easy.

Friday pizza night is a solid option for a quick bite. You can pick your own toppings which is great. The steak was decent too, but the pizza came out super fast. Perfect when you're short on time.

The wine list had some nice options for a Saturday lunch. Food was beautifully cooked and presented, made for a relaxed afternoon.

Dan was a great server, really attentive without being overbearing. He knew the menu well and gave honest advice on portion sizes, which helped us order just right. The food came out quickly too. Good service makes a meal feel like better value.

The staff were so lovely and welcoming! They made us feel right at home, which is perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. Food looked delicious too, definitely coming back to try it next time.

Lunch with a big group and the kids. They got us all seated together, no problem even on a busy day. Menu had something for everyone. My fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and proper chips. Kids cleared their plates too.

Came here after reading the reviews. The burger with that spiced chutney was the standout for me, really made it. Chips were spot on, too. Food arrived properly hot, which is always a plus. Nice spot for a casual bite.

Reliable spot for a quick bite. The traditional Turkish dishes are authentic and the space is surprisingly spacious.
