Popped in for a quick lunch. The vegan chickpea and spinach pie was tasty and filling, really hit the spot. Decent portion for the price. Noticed they had vegan cakes too, but I was full.

The outdoor space is great for families, and the food is definitely cheaper than other pubs in the area.

Came with a big group of 20. They handled it all so smoothly, no stress at all. Food was decent, but honestly, the service is what stood out. Just really easy.

Been coming for 20 years, still drive across town for it. The homemade chili sauce is fantastic, but be warned - it's seriously spicy!

Been grabbing the vegan deluxe burger here for years. Quick, reliable lunch spot. Staff are always friendly. It's just a solid, no-fuss bite.

Delia was so lovely, really made us feel welcome. The coffee was nice, but it was the vibe that stood out - perfect for a chilled catch-up with friends. Could happily sit there for hours.

I’m no chef, but even I could tell how fresh everything was. The prawns in the salt and pepper dish were spot on. Perfect for sharing with a couple of mates over a long catch-up.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Even on a busy Saturday lunch, tables get cleared fast and you're not waiting ages at the bar. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back.

The all-day breakfast is consistently good, and the cappuccino is proper. Service stays quick even when they're packed.

Lovely little spot for a weekend catch-up with friends. The vibe is so relaxed and warm, you can easily lose track of time chatting. The avocado toast was spot on. ☕️ A bit of a wait for a table, but that’s the sign of a good place, right?

Nice spot in Bath with great views from the window seats. Food came out quick and was fresh.

The sticky toffee pudding was a revelation. The cosy, book-lined room made it even better.

I'm always on the lookout for good veggie spots, and the menu here really delivered. The vegetable tagine was the highlight for me – the spices were spot on and it had so much depth. Really hit the spot!

The little outdoor tables are perfect for watching the world go by. Had a delicious breakfast and a really good fruit smoothie there. Just a nice, relaxed spot.

The oysters were fantastic, but I should’ve ordered a dozen instead of six. Their house white wine was a perfect match—crisp and light, just what you want with fresh seafood. Staff were friendly, place had a good buzz.

The crispy fried squid was so fresh, and the passion prawns from the specials were a lovely light option. Everything tasted so clean.

The set menu. Good value. Portions are generous. The curries were the highlight, really flavourful. A solid choice for a filling meal.

Been coming here for years. Their pasta selection is the real deal, always fresh and cooked just right. It's a bit of a walk from my place, but I don't mind. You get what you pay for.

The coffee here is so smooth, really hits the spot. Service was friendly and quick, which is always a plus. Found a nice little spot by the window to people-watch. Definitely a new favourite for me in Newbury.

The sweet and savoury waffles are all made fresh, which is great for a casual catch-up. We tried the Nutella and ice cream one - it was a hit! The vibe is relaxed, perfect for a long chat over a late brunch.

Popped in for a quick coffee on a Sunday. Nice spot, very relaxed and spacious. Service was efficient, got my order fast. Coffee was good. Perfect for a quick stop.

The unlimited menu is a solid deal. We tried a bit of everything, and the servers were really good about keeping plates coming without hovering. Portions per plate are small, which is fine for tasting, but you do end up ordering quite a few rounds.

The set-price buffet is a solid deal. Loved watching the chefs cook the noodles fresh to order right in front of you. Left feeling completely full.

Plenty of seats inside and on the terrace, which is nice. Came for a solo coffee and ended up staying for a couple of hours to get some work done. The large latte was a bit pricey for the size, though.

Lovely spot for a break. The homemade carrot cake was really nice, still warm from the oven. Had it with a proper flat white while watching the boats. A bit pricey for the slice, but the view made it.

The ingredients are always so fresh here. Really appreciate the care they take with their sourcing.

The steak pie was a proper homemade one, lovely flaky pastry. Filling was rich and tender, a really satisfying portion. Just what you want on a cold evening.

The all-day brunch is the main draw. The eggs were perfectly runny, and the hollandaise had a nice, sharp lemon kick. The bacon was thick-cut and crispy. It's a solid, no-fuss plate of food.

Friendly service and the food is consistently decent. Just a heads up, it's cash only so you'll need to remember that. Had a pretty good lunch here.
