Our waiter really knew the menu. His recommendations were spot-on, especially for the lighter dishes.

I was curious about the desserts here. The sundae with edible glitter caught my eye, and it was a fun choice. The baked cheesecake was nice too, though I wish the portion was a bit larger. Both were quite fresh.

Solid spot for a quick lunch. The chicken tikka masala was ready in under 10 minutes, which is perfect for my break. Good spice level, not too heavy. Portion was decent for the price. Just what you need when you're in a rush.

Been here a few times. It's clean, plenty of space. The little touches are nice – they bring out hand wipes and a small dessert on the house. Makes you feel looked after.

Burgers are the main event here. But don't sleep on the chicken tenders. They're solid. Got the loaded fries too, a decent quick bite. Everything came out fast, which is what I needed.

The homemade potato bread at the start was the star for me. So fluffy and warm, with a hint of herbs. I ended up asking for a second basket! The rest was nice, but that bread really set a good mood.

Steak and ale pie for lunch. Chips were proper, peas fresh. The pie itself? Solid. Good ale selection as always. Staff were friendly, had a quick chat. Decent pub grub.

You can really taste the quality in the chips - proper local potatoes and good oil. Not greasy at all, just proper comfort food.

The poppadoms are the standout. They're super crispy, not oily at all. The rice portion was huge, I barely made a dent in it. That's really the main thing I remember from the meal.

The portions here are huge, honestly. Feels like you're getting restaurant food for a takeaway price. My fridge is full of leftovers.

The desi items were really fresh, you could tell they were prepared recently. Good selection too.

Loved the vibe here! The burger was spot on, juicy and cooked just right. The fries were tasty, but some were a bit under-seasoned while others were fine. Still, a solid spot for a casual bite.

The bone china cups and saucers are the real deal, not just for show. The tea tastes cleaner, sharper from them. The scones were warm, with clotted cream that wasn't overly sweet. A proper cuppa.

Sue was so nice and patient with our group, even when we couldn't decide what to order! Made the whole vibe really welcoming.

Pork chop was cooked perfectly. Steaks also done right. Ingredients taste fresh, clearly seasonal. Good execution on the basics.

Been coming here for years. The food's always solid, homely stuff. Portions are big, you won't leave hungry. Place is a bit tight at the moment with the work going on, but they still manage to serve you right.

The servers were on it. Adam, Alex, Gian Franco—they knew the menu inside out, got the timing right. Not hovering, just there when you needed something. Made the whole thing smooth.

Great spot right in the pedestrian centre, super handy with the multi-storey next door. It's always got a nice, lively buzz. The staff are really friendly and attentive, which makes for a relaxed meal.

This little family-run Italian spot is tucked away in a quiet alley. The pasta is fresh and the space just feels so cozy and warm. I could sit there for hours.

Been coming here for years, and the dosas are always spot on. The paneer butter masala is my go-to, never lets me down. It's just consistently good, which is why I keep coming back.

The lamb rogan josh here is spot on every time. Just the right amount of spice and the meat is always tender. Our local curry fix.

Modern and clean inside. They were happy to adjust the spice level on my curry, which was spot on. Good for a sit-down meal or grabbing something to go.

The curry here is so fragrant and fresh, just like home cooking. A nice change from the usual places.

Loved the stylish, elegant vibe here. Perfect spot for a special evening.

The staff were so helpful. They took the time to walk us through the menu, explaining the different cuts and sauces. It made choosing a lot easier. Really appreciated that extra bit of care.
